This is really fun, I'd love to try an expanded version! Got quite a bit more difficult than I expected. One annoyance I had was that the small slimes often didn't want to activate the small buttons, and it was quite finicky to get the doors to open. Luckily I wasn't on a time limit :)

Good job!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback!

We have a changed build ready for after the GameJam where the buttons are fixed 😀

beautiful art and a really clever concept. Level design was solid, I hope you get to expand on this idea after the jam is through. Awesome work!

Developer(+1)

We absolutely have plans to expand on it after the Jam, we've already started adding levels and fixing any bugs reported to us.

Thank you so much for playing and rating it!

Cutie, fun it's a really good puzzle game. Maybe more levels later??? :D

Developer

Building out the logic in everything didn't leave much time for level design, but Jason and I have been working on making the game better from the reviews and adding more levels. After the Jam I'll upload a new build with more levels! Thanks so much for the review.

Wow Loved it, didn't even realise that I've reached the end, was having so much fun.

Only thing it's missing is more levels.

BTW, Would love for you to try my game too.

It is an Action Platformer with unique controls.

I'm really happy you liked the sound design! ;)

Great idea splitting the slime into multiple bodys! puzzles was fun too!

I enjoyed playing this game, thanks for submitting it. I really think it started to hit its stride when you had to merge the goos in separate locations to open doors. Of course level design is challenging in such a short timeframe, but it would have been cool to see those mechanics play out in even more complex ways. TL;DR it was good, and I would have played more levels if you had them!

Really pleasant experience throughout!

I only ran into a couple rough spots but thanks to the fact you can restart so fast it didn't hinder my enjoyment much at all. The main things I ran into though was accidently dividing goomens into walls or dividing them out of walls and existence. The buttons that multiple goo had to touch also seemed a bit finicky? The timing for getting both goos on seemed very precise or perhaps I was doing it incorrectly? I wasn't exactly sure if the buttons need the goos to both land on their buttons at the same time but that is what seemed to get them to work. :>

The puzzles were nice and it had a pretty good difficulty curve. It is quite easy to imagine some rather difficult elaborations on these designs.

Thanks for the nice goo experience. :>

Wow thank you so much for such a thorough review! It was really great, and helpful feedback!

Super great review! It's very appreciated. The original intent with the buttons was that you needed to hit the buttons at the same time -- kind of like turning two keys at the same time; however, this did not come off correctly and has been updated.
Now if you have a goo standing on a button, the button will stay pressed. This should really help with the frustration of the buttons.
Thanks so much!

Loved the concept of breaking apart the slime/building them back up together from the arrows on the floor! I like how everything has its own different colors, like the yellow makes you gravitate toward them and the red buttons changing when being pressed makes me know to cover it with those blocks.

Really fun puzzle design! At some points I wish I'd had the ability to reuse a split or combine button if I accidentally walked over one or something, but that's the nature of the game; overall I thought it was really clever. Thanks!

Developer

Thanks so much for taking the time to play the game! We had originally designed the game to allow the player to split and merge at will, but ultimately decided that made it too action oriented, and not as puzzle oriented. Glad you liked the design we went with!

Cool idea! But the splitting button at one of the levels doesn't work...

Developer

oh no! I'll have to do some more testing! Where was the button that wasn't working?

Submitted(+2)

The puzzles were pretty neat! Controlling all the slimes can get a bit tricky and it took me a moment to figure out what the buttons on the floor were, but it's a good bit of fun

Developer

Thanks so much for checking it out! It was so much fun to make!
