How does your game fit the theme?
a group of monkeys have to work together to break a curse put on them. The monkeys are magically bound to a barrel for context. We took the idea of 'monkeys in a barrel' toy and tried to create a game that could capitalize on mechanics based on the toy.

The description on the jam page is gold

You can add the controls to the jam page if you think it will help players. It took me a little too long to realize I could click haha

But i love the art! Great job!

Really unique idea! The intro animation is very cute. It seems to suffer from similar issues as our game - the controls are a bit frustrating and the chain was pretty glitchy (frequently didn't retract when restarting)... I couldn't get very far, but I think I would have liked less of the jumping and more of the grabbing and swinging as that is a more unique mechanic. Would like to see what this could be with some more testing and polishing. Nice work though!

This is a really cool idea! The intro cutscene was great and the core gameplay concept is really fun. I couldn't get very far into it because of some technical issues, namely the barrel not moving along with the moving platform and the monkey string not extending at all after a while, but this idea has a bunch of potential and I would definitely play more of a more polished version.

There's a CUTSCENE ? O_o

Oh Wow. Your game really looked good mate! Hands down. X)

The music was really catchy. The visuals are beautiful! You can understand the story and your goal without even reading the description. "Show, don't tell". That was nice! :)

Great job dude! :D

Cute intro drawings! Nice art in-game. Movement code could use some work, and fixing a glitch where the barrel becomes stuck on corners of platforms. Nice job.
