Lovely and funny setting and art style with nice music! The gameplay was enjoyable altough the underwater rope was awkward and also took away the swing ability which was the fun part for me. Also the instadeath made the game too unforgiving.
Thank you for playing our game! Your feedback is very important for us (and especially for me, since I was the one on the team who made the water level), and will be taken into account for future versions of the game! Unfortunately, we couldn't 100% tweak the physics of the rope for it to work the way we wanted (even swinging, although a bit less, but underwater), but as stated, is one of our top priorities to fix for a post-jam build.
Cool game, and good job for the music. The UI was really well done for a jam game and is probably the best UI I have seen so far. The rope seemed a little glitchy underwater, and I left the screen by flying up on the first level, but really good job.
Thanks for your feedback! Yeah unfortunately we couldn't quite tune up the physics to what we wanted, and will be addressed in future builds. That's Unity's built-in physics for you, I suppose. And yes, unfortunately we missed that spot on level one, will also be addressed in the future. Thank you for playing our game!
Nice presentation, the game is fairly simple but the puzzle are well put together.
The only thing I didn't like was the physics of the the alien when you're on the ground and the rope physics kinda glitch from time to time.
Otherwise it's a pretty solid game :)
Thank you for your feedback! It is really appreciated. Yeah unfortunately we didn't have time to have the physics as refined as we wanted it to be, and we will be tweaking this aspect in future versions. That's Unity's built-in physics for you, sadly. Thank you for giving the game a go!
Nice use of a tethering mechanic. Fun to play and not too long!
There seemed to be some flickering between tiles, if you want to continue working on this, I think there is a setting for unity tile maps that fixes this.
Thanks for your feedback! Yes, we have the tile issue written down in our to-do list and will be addressed in a future build!
Boy, that game is a lot :D Let me write it in points!
1. The concept and the title are fun and original, good job!
2. The art is suuuper slick, I liked it a lot, it fits the theme, perfect!
3. The main mechanic is interesting and feels fresh, I had a lot of fun with it!
4. Levels are interesting and well designed.
5. Music and sound effects are great, they perfectly fit the mood, great work!
All right, after all these great things, just two small suggestions :D
6. In-level checkpoints would greatly help, sometimes I felt frustrated when I failed the level because of some random swing at the very end.
7. The first puzzle with swinging already had spikes very close by, I failed it a number of times, maybe the learning curve could be adjusted there.
All in all, this is definitely one of my favorites so far, good job!!!
Woah, that is a lot of feedback, thank you so much!!! We're really happy to see you really enjoyed our game and are thankful for your suggestions, we will definitely take it into account for an upcoming post-jam version. We aim to polish the game more in the following months and add more content that we would've loved to include in the jam build but due to obvious time constraints, we could not.
I reiterate, your feedback means a lot and we will take it into account. Thank you!
I like how you have to abduct people under water, how are they even alive?? The rope physics sometimes get kind of wonky, but that's Unity for you. Fun game!
Yeah, it was a bit hard to tweak all the physics going on in our game, we will fix this in a future post-jam version.
And to answer your question regarding people underwater, they have gills.
Thanks for playing our game!
This was a fun concept, and the puzzles were nicely made!
