Really interesting! It makes you want to keep playing to find out what's next! I would only modify the spaceship's movement! Congratulations!

How does your game fit the theme?
The rescue ship and the mothership are linked to face a growing sun. The rescue ship must fetch all the needed fuel tank with its energy ray. At any time the rescue ship can be pulled by the mothership by their only link, a tractor beam. Good luck.

The artwork and the visual effects of this game are pretty cool. I can tell it is very professionally made. The game mechanics are quite interesting too. However, the controls of the rescue ship are too hard to master, making the game a little bit difficult. But anyway, I really like this game. Nice job for a 48h work! Had a lot of fun!
Cool game! It's nice to see a non-pixel-art game for a change! The visuals are really good and the music complements it.
I struggled a bit with the controls in the beginning and understand what it is I have to do. I suggest placing an easy fuel container very close to the mothership to show the player quickly what they have to do.
The game progresses really nicely and keeps looking better and better.
Congrats on submitting!
Thank you for your answer! I appreciate. Some crucial steps are missing to give the right info.
As you said giving more clues about what's going out would be a thing. I wanted to have some camera movement with exploding planets then go to your ship to setup the "hurry up" feeling. But well.. you know :)
wow guys, loved this game it was a very interesting concept, I believe you can do something much bigger than this on the game, I would suggest you keep working on this one, I will come back to this one later, for now I managed to escape :D, the art was top notch, although I think trails are a little out of the thrusters but overall very good one :)
This is such a cool idea for a game, I haven't seen anything like it before! I guess you like space RTS games then!
Things I liked:
- The overall scavenging nature of find some fuel and get out.
- Without reading the instructions, I knew what was supposed to be a fuel tank just from the art alone, even though looking at it objectively, I'm not really sure how? Perhaps it's the fact it has the same graphics as the back of my ship? Maybe that it's glowing?
- The artwork is great, it's cohesive and has a nice sci fi feel to it.
- The use of the theme, you're joined to your ship. It's loose but it works!
- The ability to control your mothership is a nice touch.
- The camera zooms out when you control the mothership which adds a surprising amount of depth.
- The trails on your ship look great! (Although when you're not moving they look a little funny!).
- Space debris is interactable, it's fun to crash into it to move it out the way
- The warning when the sun gets too close
Suggestions:
- The controls seem a little too spacey, I felt like I was on ice and didn't really have as much control over my ship as I would have liked. I wonder if mouse controls would have felt better? (ship flies towards mouse, click to pick up / interact).
- I wish the big fuel tanks gave more fuel
- I would have liked to be able to steer the mothership, and with some kind of radar/indicator to locate where the transporter is, because right now it's just straight ahead!
- A restart button for when you know you're dead! I have to refresh the page currently.
- Make it run faster in a browser! For me it randomly had framerate issues.
- I would have liked to be able to turn around while being towed back to the ship. Towing is quite slow, but useful as a brake when you're flying really fast in the opposite direction (because it immediately kills your velocity), so while using it to brake, I would have liked to be able to turn around, and then once in the right direction, use the thrusters of my own ship.
Overall, I really enjoyed playing and I hope to see more! Will you be developing it further?
Thank you for the review, it's really constructive! I appreciate. You're right with the exploration it's something important we wanted to developp but we lacked of time for the demo. For the future of the project, we have to talk a bit my mate and I to figure a bigger picture so at the moment, why not :)
If any other idea or things that could pop into your mind or just something you might like, feel free to drop a msg !
Nice game. The controls got a bit chaotic at times, but I presume it was a design choice to make it a bit harder. All in all it was pretty tense and the music only aplified that feeling. I was actually quite sad when it ended so soon, but welp that is the charm of gamejam games. Good job!
I managed to escape :) The ships look great! It reminds me a little bit of an old game called Solar Jetman.
Did you model everything during the jam? If so I will applaud you, because the models look amazing!
The controls are a bit weird and the game is short, but it was fun and it looked really good
I enjoyed the art style and the gameplay even though it was hard to control sometimes. Nice job!
I absolutely just love the artstyle for this game! Although the controls can be a little difficult since the movement is made to mimic that of movement in zero-gravity, I think that kind of choice for movement adds a nice amount of nuance that allows for more depth and creativity in how you can control the rescue ship. Great job :D
Nice little game) Cool models and graphics, really fits the atmosphere! Great execution of physics, feels like it should when there is no gravity, only exeption - sometimes that fuel cans start spinning menacingly)
Really pretty game, the little ship feels great to control. There was one weird thing where the fuel canisters went out of axis and starting spinning around. A little slowdown while towing fuel would be worthwhile too, I think. The zoom out while piloting the mothership helped to reduce the amount of flying to find fuel.
Very cool graphics, some bugs mess up the experience a bit but I had fun!
I looove the concept !
Really fun to switch between both ships.
The game might need a little bit of polish but it's okay, congrats !
At some point, [E] to interact with mother ship stopped disappearing, even when it flew off with a small ship. Accordingly, he could not collect fuel, because he was just returning to base.
