Solid game idea! You just need to increase the threshold for when a box fits into the holes and after that fully close it... sometimes the boxes fit and still I got stuck between the box and walls of the hole and my character would die even though the box should prevent me from falling in
Agreed, a solid bridge when the block is placed should do well!
Finished the whole game! I think the idea of the game is really solid but it can definitely use a ton of polishing up. Movement of the player can very easily get stuck on walls and blocks and you need to poke the blocks to get into the hole exactly how you want them to because sometimes they don't sit in a location that lets you cross the hole readily.
I agree! It's definitely not finished yet!
interinsting, it looks good and feels good, a little hard because I mainly play with the arrow keys and not wasd keys.
It's a learning curve, but I am glad you tried it!
Really good idea and concept! The nature of the puzzles is more of trial and error, but I love this reverse engineering approach. It really makes you think in a different way than traditional puzzles. The music was calm, the graphics simple, some animation and sounds would have really improved the experience. The only critique I would have (in case you want to futher develop the game) is that I've encountered a little frustration when moving the blocks, as they didn't fit easily in the holes, and sometimes that "human" had some issues walking over them. But great creative work, I really enjoyed the experience and the creative puzzles.
That's great to hear! You're right there are a few bugs there and the visuals are not top notch, that's something I will work on after the jam. But I love that you appreciate the concept!
It's good idea just lacks the fluff/juice. It's proper game
This was an interesting entry! I did have trouble with making sure the blocks were situated properly to let me move across though.
Thanks!
That was the most difficult thing to get right, I might try another approach when I continue development!
Nice idea! It could be clearer that you need to stand on both switches at once in the first level - and I couldn't figure out how to move the first block into the correct position in the second level. I like the idea of linking the two characters though, and the dual controls work well.
Was really interesting and fun! Though in the first level it wasn't clear that I had to be on the two buttons... I had to go to the comments and see your answer...
Some of the blocks to continue stopped working, couldn't finish 1st level unfortunately. Looks great though
You have to combine different triggers to open doors. Some doors open with one trigger, some open with two.
