Nice game.

1, There should be sound, music, and polish.

2, I like how the lava is orange and the ice is blue, that way, colorblind players can easily identify the hazards.

Besides these, nice game.

I would be very happy if you would play my game.

Developer

thanks for the feedback.

seeing it was my first game jam i didn't leave much time to polish my game but great experience and now i know i need to manage my time more wisely.

Well done - Your concept is clear and while the game was very difficult, I think it met the GameJam criteria spot on.
I suggest you play with your physics a bit more, the jumping is quite difficult. I'd also suggest some "key colors" so that the player knows what is "safe" vs. "bad" - I died a lot on level 2 because I didn't know that the Yellow platforms were safe and the orange ones weren't.

Great job !

Thanks for the feedback.

Now that I think about it I should of made a pre level menu showcasing what we’re hazards and what we’re platforms.

Other than that it was my first published game and I’m very proud of it.

Might want to have friends try it before I release it so I can correct things that are difficult to understand.

Good idea, but some things:

1. Use a different font than arial.

2. Keep a consistent style, don´t do grass and then abstract.

3. Make it less buggy.

4. Add sounds and music.

5. Make it less hard.

Hope the feedback helped you, would be nice if you could check out my submission too. :)

Developer

great to hear your feedback.

I did have sound effects such as a jump sound, death sound and level complete sound in the downloaded version as I used .wav and wasn’t compatible in webgl.

I designed the game to be hard and make the player think of strategic ways in how to beat the level.

I didn’t encounter any bugs when I played through it about 3 times but I guess that’s the point of other people playing your game.

The font I just didn’t pay much attention to it but good to know for next time.

I wanted to create different levels to make it less bland but if making them all on a similar theme then I can try that.

When I have time I will give your game a try. I love playing other people’s submissions.

Thanks

I really enjoyed this game.

The concept is pretty simple and the (good) level design makes the most of it. The gameplay feels like a puzzle, where you have to think your next move and figure out the correct path in order to proceed. Really interesting.

On the side note, I think it's a bit too hard. It's supposed to be challenging, but some platforms felt way too small. Also, have you added a "coyote jump"? I think the game would feel better with it (or with it lasting a bit longer).

Good job!

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it.

i wanted the game i made to force people to focus on two particular points at the same time.

which i knew full well would be challenging, and because I'm new to programming I've seen the type of jump you listed but i didn't know what it was actually called, i might mess around with that a little bit.

Thank You

The blue cube constatly went right when I didn't press anything. Looked cool, but this couldn't let me go past level 2.

Developer

I’m sorry to hear that, I haven’t had that problem when I test it. Thanks for letting me know

This is a really cool platformer which took a long time to complete, this is a great accomplishment for 48 hours

Well done
