An awesome game with a brilliant idea and a really good interpretation of the theme! The artwork and graphics of the game are simple but definitely fit into the game. All these abilities are all very fun and interesting and the controls feel so good. But the gravity manipulation ability is really really hard to control, even after I read your tips on the game page. The balls keep gravitating towards the walls that I don't want it to go. But anyway, this is really a nice work for 48 hours! Had a lot of fun!

Very cool idea. I think the character controller is a bit unwieldy, with too little acceleration and inconsistent jump heights. Tightening them up would definitely help showcase your ideas much better, I feel. Also, more feedback on what the gravity ability is doing would be nice, it seems very disorienting to use. Maybe an arrow to show which direction gravity is going when its not straight down, or changing the rotation of the camera. Something minor to help keep player's grounded, yknow?

Design wise, I'm curious as to what the game would be like if there was more of a drawback to having more abilities, and being able to "abandon" certain abilities. Maybe the ball gains more mass when it has more abilities, and can't jump as high or dash as far, so you have to let go of your gravity manipulation to get somewhere or something. There's a lot more to explore, imo. Good work :).

Thanks for the in-depth feedback! I completely agree that the controls aren't as tight as we wanted them to be, especially on walls. Currently the trick is to look at the wall you're currently on, then the controls feel more intuitive. Though that's never explained in game and certainly not how we wanted it to turn out

The functionality to drop abilities is actually in the game and can be used with the keys 1-5, as well as getting heavier and bigger the more abilities you obtain (and the other way around when dropping them) but it's very subtle. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to properly use either in any levels.

A very cool physics game! The abilities are amazing, maybe except for the purple gravity, which I just wish was a little less passive :D. The lighting and music make for a really awesome atmosphere! Though I had to play without sound since sound effects made me feel uncomfortable.

Overall a very nice entry with some great levels :). Well done!

Thanks for the feedback! What do you mean by "a little less passive"? Turned on and off by the user? Theoretically you can drop the ability with the corresponding number key, though the levels aren't designed for you to do so currently. :)

Sorry, that the sounds grossed you out :/

No problem! Yeah, I meant turned on/off by pressing a key for example :).

I couldn't get this one to run :(

Developer

Weird, it should come with everything you need and even a prerequisite installer from UE4. :/

Idea is really cool. I think the controls are a little tight. Movement is not very fluid and the gravitation ability is difficult to predict. But aesthetics and the bounce sound are awesome

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! We agree, that the gravity ability in it's current state is not the most intuitive but we felt like it's too cool to not be used. :) Also a little "air control" could go a long way to make the overall movement more fluid.

Good set of mechanics, but perhaps not the nicest levels. I had a hard time with the gravity passive levels due to camera.

Really neat concept. I especially love the passive vs active abilities, and the UI reminding you of what ability is active. By main feedback would be to consider to order of the levels, but it was a lot of fun to play.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! We tried to introduce the player with very simple and easy levels to show the different abilities and how they can interact with each other. The difficulty curve in the later levels is a bit mixed up, we agree.

well done, really cool concept and the graphics serve it really well. super impressive for 48 hrs.

Was fun, controls were a bit hard to master. Some levels very easy or very hard, no in-betwens I think. Could use more colors in general, since the the background and obstacles kept blending together

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, especially in the later levels the obstacles/platforms and ground floor blend together too much. Something we'd now change for sure.

Visually, there is certainly room for improvement. The contrast between individual elements is sometimes very poor. For example, with the blocks moving up and down, you can't tell right away which part is moving and which is not (or is there a block at all). Unfortunately there is no level (apart from the "introduction" level) where the brown bounce passive was necessary. Would have been cool to have more levels in general but also where removing already collected abilities would have been necessary. The camera work could also be improved. Nevertheless, given the short amount of time, a game that is more fun each round you play!
