Very clever! I am not a gamer and I had fun!
Thanks!
I have failed my friends, Pinky and Tealo as I could not guide them successfully through the second spike stage. I had nice time though going through the rest of the game. :>
I wonder if I missed a mechanic or is that second spike stage just super super hard ?? It's okay if I wasn't gamer enough. You can say this.
Nope, no mechanics missed, it's just really hard. Fun fact: I hadn't beaten level 7 (the second spike level) until 2 days after the jam. My teammate proved it was possible during the jam and made the 8th level easier by accident.
Pretty addictive! Really well done on the level design, teaching the player as you go :) The animations of the faces also very cute. Nice that you had infinite tries too because the challenges were getting pretty difficult 6 or 7 levels in!!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm planning to expand this game so it's helpful to know the design is working
Your game looks clean dude! The controls were really intuitive and easy to pick up! The presentation was REALLY great!
The 2 balls having changing facial expression was a really neat touch! That was funny X)
Nice work man! :)
Eyyy, thanks!
Arrrrggggh. Okay, I'm kinda furious because this was a really fun little game, but that endlessly repeating 2 second loop of music really botched the experience for me. Yes, I know it's a two minute tune, but that two minutes is all just variation on that same 2 seconds, and you restart the level and the tune a lot.
You really nailed the fun factor, which so many games on this jam don't seem to be doing, the work shows a ton of potential. Just...don't give your players a headache please!
Hahaha, sorry. It’s something that most of my friends ended up saying when they played through it. We were kind of rushing and a soundtrack didn’t seem like the main priority. I’ll change it up after the jam and maybe add a few of the features I wanted to add but never had time for.
