Quite satisfying to get the double weapon! A bit more gameplay elements and this could be become really cool.
I like the art style, but your mechanics needs some work. Generally speaking, it would be great to have some more visual feedback when stuff happens on screen. Good entry!
In case you weren't already aware, Mark Brown played your game on stream:

This was great! It felt kind of like a goth ski free if that makes sense! It was very easy to figure out how to play, the controls felt fluid, the tension built nicely, all around really great job!
I like the art, especially the character!
I really liked it! I played it quite some time trying to get better upgrades.
I just felt a retry button.
Great work =)
This is a fun idea and i love the art but i have some critique:
1. A score or just something to keep the player engaged would be cool.
2. Music and sounds would help a lot.
Hope the feedback helped you, would be nice if you could check out my game "Square Pair" too. :)
Thanks for the feedback! The "score" was supposed to be denoted by the leveling up bar that is under the health bar but I agree that it should've been more obvious, maybe like xp orbs dropped from the enemies that would go and have a little filling up animation.
And yes, unfortunately neither my partner nor I had any experience with music so next time we will be sure to recruit a musician as well haha.
I'll check out your game :)
Oh i didn´t notice that! Thanks! :)
Its a bit monotonous but the concept is nice and I love the art style :)
This was fun and chaotic. Would be good to have some powerups to give the game more depth as it develops.
nice.
I really dig the auto level-up system.
good work :)
