I like such games and the difficulty seems perfect. Just the graphics were a bit too simple.

Developer

Thanks! I agree; improving the graphics was next on my to-do list when time ran out :)

Cool concept. Keep it up.

Nice idea. The execution is a little off though with the aiming. Weird SFX. Haha. Good job.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, I don't have much experience with SFX haha. Thanks for the feedback on the aiming!

Cool idea, but for me it's way too fiddly to hit them with just one of the bullets. I think a bit of spread would give you some leeway but retain the core idea. Good work.

Thanks for your feedback!

Cool idea !

First I thought i have to aim with the bullet part that deals damage X)

Developer

Thanks! I had hoped some players would take on that challenge

The shooting felt good and I went through a couple levels just fine which is saying something in terms of engagement between games in a jam this big. I will say that the enemies could've done with less health  or if I got more ammo with each pickup. And the sound FX were pretty grating after a while.

Developer

I'm glad it kept you entertained for a while! Yeah, sorry about the sound effects; I'm still new to that. I think you might be right about the ammo amount too. Thanks for the feedback!

Neat concept! Gets a little difficult for me in the later levels, but fun to play!

Thank you for playing!

Nice work.  This is a clever idea. I think it would be nice if individual bullets appeared sooner.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yeah, I was hoping to introduce the player to the systems gradually, hoping that they'd use the bouncy walls to buff themselves in level 2 and separate bullets in level 3 before being introduced to separate pickups in level 4. In hindsight, I definitely should've made that more explicit and/or just put the separate ammo earlier. Thanks again for your advice!

Submitted

Cool concept, but I didn't got individual bullets until level 4

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! The damage and buff bullets fire at the same time because the guns are joined together. You're right, it's not until level 4 that you can pick up ammo for only one time, allowing you to only fire the one you want. Sorry I didn't communicate that more clearly!

Love the concept, very fun! It was a little hard when the big one in level 3 got so fast, I died with 10ish HP of him left. :D

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, that one's tough. Thanks for playing!

Great concept! Gets pretty hard when the enemies are fast! Loved it

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback!
