Definitively one of my favourite mechanics of the jam! Great design!

Really neat game! At first it looks simple, but I played a few times and realised there is a ton of pretty neat details and mechanics such as seeing the spider's abdomen shrinking and indicating how much web you have left. The way the webs are tied together procedurally is really nice and can create visually appealing patterns. I also realised that the more flies you have in your web, the more points you score, but the more fly you have, the more chance you have to have your web broken. This is great design.
One thing I would critique is the fact that you don't see the exact number of webs you have and have to guess when your spacebar split web shot is available, but other than that the game is amazing!
Great job!
The combined velocity mechanics was not a bug (pun intended). That was by design! Every link influences the movement of other bees so when a bee has multiple links, it can reach the added speed of others. One thing I didn’t have the time do was a threadmill mechanics. You need the combined speed of multiple other bees to reach the speed needed to walk over the threadmill. Could’ve been neat! Thanks for the feedback!
Very well made and polished game. The artstyle is perfect! It's like if overcooked and enter the gungeon had a baby together. Took me a while to figure out what to do with the ingredients, but once I did it made sense and was able to complete the game. A very enjoyable ride!
My only concern is how this game fits in the theme of "Joined together". The lore fits the theme if you say that the hunger and the life are joined together, but on a game design standpoint, I think it's a bit of a stretch!
Very great game overall definitely one of the best I tried this jam! Great team
You're totally right about the user feedback. If I had more time (or less sleep) the next step would have been to add more polish in terms of user feeback such as Particle effects when you collide with objects or die, add some UI to guide the user, and make the flow of the game more convenient when you die or begin a level. Thanks for the great feedback!
