I've seen games this jam that cover a similar vein with handing out quests but I really like what this one brings, it feels really polished and that thought has been put in. I really like the way the bar keep actually says what the quest is based on the combination; that must be quite a few different possibilities you had to code for!

Cool concept! I liked how the quest giver gave an interesting narrative interpretation of the quest elements I chose. Also, it was very well polished and I didn't experience any bugs.

I liked the music and dialogue, though I found little incentive to ever let the adventures survive or perform a quest for you, since then you have to pay them. As long as you have plenty of gold, I found it better to just kill or bore my heroes so I wouldn't have to pay them... kind of optimizing the fun out of the game. That being said, it is a really creative idea for a game, and fulfills the fantasy quite well! Also, at first I thought the tavern-keep was a decent guy, but then you realize he is just out for blood...

Like the creative simulation. It was fun seeing what would happen to the adventurers.

Super clever idea, this is what the jam was made for. Funny and clever submission. Nice!

Aww there's so many different characters! We also made a game in this genre haha, I like the take you made, it definitely feels a lot more fleshed out than ours (with the stats and such). Kudos!!

Really fun concept! I send a level 60 adventurer called 'bearlinwall' to the forest to collect 3 rings. Somehow that killed him. So 10/10 game for me.

But seriously. It's really fun to try to give the adventurers quests that both fit their character and don't bankrupt you

Thank you so much for putting your time into our game! :)
I feel like its still a bit rough and hard to read, but if it made you laugh it was all worth the effort.

idk why but the artstyle reminded me of swords and sandals.
