Enjoyment: 4/5. This was pretty fun ! I could see this as an old flash game you'd play as a kid.

Creativity: 3/5. It's interesting that you have to die to advance to the next level, but I would've liked to see more of the mechanic of using corpses as platforms. Most of the levels you can pass with only two adventurers, the rest you can kill at the beginning.

Presentation: 4/5. This looks really good ! One detail: i would've liked the adventurers to be easier to tell apart. The one that jumps higher than the other for example, i found by pure luck. I didn't even know he was different from the others.

Great game still !

We have more content we did not had time to use properly. We've planned on making 10 levels earlier, but many other tasks lowered that number.. Having more raiders makes it easier on people struggling to pass levels and we find it's funny to get rid of them in different ways. Many times I failed by forgetting I had other remaining raiders. Ultimatly there will be more traps. and we might have a difficulty settings to reduce the number of raiders to bare minimum so the challenge fit more people.

Also, we'll make that high jumper more different.

Thanks for the comment!

are you planning on making a post-jam build ? that'd be great !

Developer

yeah! level designer is already working on new levels and we need to fix some bugs and improve parts of the game. Can't say when exactly, we do have day jobs... Follow us or stay tune.

I quite enjoyed this. Love how it used death as a gameplay mechanic.

Really fun platforming. The yellow mushroom like platforms felt a bit tricky and didn't understand how it works. Awesome art style as well. Really nice work!

Thanks!

The platforms work in mysterious ways (the collision check code is buggy).

Forgot to mention, but a WebGL build would be so nice to have if possible!

Feel free to hop into my game as well and share your thoughts and ratings if you have the time!

In the first level, I felt like it was more of a "stepping on corpses" game to progress. But in the second level, it turned into a platform jump and collect more elements with three lives. The levels are becoming more and more interesting. It's really fun!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed.

Exactly. 1st level just act as a tutorial forcing you right away into it so you know what the game expects you to do.

Stay tuned for more levels and fun!

I love the concept of the game, it's really interesting, especially needing to sacrifice all of the raiders to win, it adds some nice depth.  Great job!

thanks for the comment!

The level design is great, especially having the limited "health"/attempts suited for the level.

Developer(+2)

Thanks! Maybe we could have difficulty levels with more or less attemps and max difficulty with the lowest amount to succeed ?

Submitted

That sounds great, yeah.

Interesting take on the them having to both sacrifice yourself to win but not until you have completed the goal for the level first. lol I like the atmosphere and the feel :D

Thanks! Check our update in a while.

Nice game! Fun concept. Some hitboxes felt a little off to me. Still a cool entry!

Developer(+1)

Thanks!
