How does your game fit the theme?
Factory games are very satisfying and often relaxing, when you build a big factory and watch it churn out item after item. But what if you were the factory, and how easy would it be to fulfil your engineer's requirements?

Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?

The take on the theme is very interesting here, congratulations!

I also have to say the beatboxing was supperb

Thank you very much!! Haha, it’s a little touch I like to add to jam games 😂

Loved the idea and the beatboxing! I got tired very fast after constant mashing XD and the game felt a bit diffcult though I understand its hard to balance in a 48 hour game jam. But, Overall Great job!!

Developer

Thanks so much for playing! Yeah, I showed it to some people immediately after playing and discovered that the difficulty is waaaay too high 😆

Quality beatboxing right there.

Cool game, and indeed not very easy (which I don't see as a bad thing).

Nice idea and execution! Now where is my pay for those working hours in the factory?

Developer(+1)

Haha, thank you! It was quicker than setting up a drum loop 😆

Ah, I’m afraid the machines don’t yet have a minimum wage…

Very well made game! Is quite hard, but the beatboxing in the background is very nice.

Developer

Thank you! 😊

Playing this game is like what beginners think playing fighting games is like.

I spent a lot of time trying to beat this but I think the biggest problem with the difficulty is having the buttons randomized. It means you can get lucky and get a much easier or harder layout and that you can never get used to them (I assume that's the reason that you did it). If there were pre-set buttons I think it would make the game a lot easier, at least for those who are persistent.
With that being said it's a cool idea and very well made. The visuals and the music fit together perfectly with the gameplay and it feels very cohesive. Great job.

Developer

Yeah absolutely, the random buttons isn’t ideal - I think as I develop this idea I’ll actually make it so the player gets to map the keys themselves, that way the difficulty can come from the hecticness rather than randomly having to hold your hand in an uncomfortable position!

Thanks so much for playing and for your feedback! 😊

10/10 masochists would recommend

Honestly an interesting idea! Balancing in a gamejam is hard, its a little unfortunate that the game ended up being so hard. But other than that I liked it! The beatboxing an original choice of music that suits it!

Developer

Haha thank you so much! Yeah, I’m discovering that I made it way too hard 😅 I’m going to continue working on it, and one of my main aims is making the difficulty configurable!

This is great! the music is soo good. I Felt like a real factory.

Lol Love the beatboxing in the background. I wish it was less button mashy and more qwop style, like how the assembler works where you need to think about how to press. Great idea nonetheless!

Developer

Thank you so much! Yes I agree, the constant mashing is a bit much… I get a sore wrist every time I play!

I love the second building as well, having to hold and let it go is a very diabolical move on my part 😂 thanks for playing and for your feedback!
