Ah! My finger! ^^ That was a funny short game.

When I started playing on Firefox, the ingame screen remains white and everything works fine (all the components working). Maybe something broken? But on Chrome I had no problem.

I found a way to make it easier by using my laptop's trackpad click + mouse left click :p

Thanks for playing our game and pointing out the Firefox issue we'll look into it!
Clever trick with the trackpad and mouse lol
Your feedback is appreciated and helpful.

I don't understand how to play, the computer stay at 120 fps and everything works fine.

Developer

The idea is that level 0 is just something to show that all components are working correctly and nothing needs to be done anyway.
At level 1 things start to heat up lol

Submitted

But I didn't understand how to get to level 1 lol

Developer (1 edit)

In theory, just wait for the player to finish the level, and then press ENTER.

Some players reported problems playing in Firefox, maybe it's a bug that only happens in the browser you're using, in general it works better in the most updated Chrome.

Tested in chrome version 114.

If it doesn't solve it, I would like to know if there are any error messages, or if there is a way to take a print of the part that stopped, that would be excellent too.

Sorry for the inconvenience :(

Well it works now, I probably didn't press ENTER at the beginning i don't now I don't remember. Also I had some issues with the screen size when playing other games so I changed it, when I played your game it is possible that a part of the screen was cropped at the very beginning until I resized it, so maybe I didn't see the message telling me to press ENTER idk. Or it was just a bug because I'm indeed playing in Firefox. Anyways that said the game is quite difficult the PC keep burning if I stop using the cooler but the fps drop if I don't stop and use the other components.

In the words of Ron Burgundy "Well that escalated quickly."

Loved the frantic clicking around trying to appease the components of the computer and trying to keep the FPS up. Got a bit confused on level 3 as no matter how much I worked the fan, the temperature climbed to 100 and never came back down :(

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and for your feedback.

Let's investigate what happens to correct it, I tested it here and there really is a bug at this level that makes the temperature stay stuck at 100%.

Good idea. I wish there were more levels )

Maybe add some another way to switch between components from keyboard, like 1 2 3 4 (or QWER) keys...

Developer (2 edits) (+1)

Noted your suggestions for more levels and keyboard controls.

Right before the JAM time ended, ASDF and Space hotkeys were added, but I didn't think much about it, I don't think they were the best choices for this haha

Glad you like the concept! Thanks for playing.

Very cool idea. You could've made the player spin manually the fan so that it's a spin to win game.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Your spin to win idea is creative lol - I will consider it for future updates.

A very cool idea, also good way to keep it simple enough and short for a jam playthrough. Nice!

Developer

Nice, thanks for playing. I tried to simplify to try to put the essence of the game in the jam.

Does the game already have a PS5 version?

Developer

Unfortunately not, but if it was a PS5 game I would like to put the PS5 in place of the Computer haha

The concept is really interesting.

Great game!

Developer

thanks for playing :)

It be nice if the computer would blue screen when your out

smoke and burn..

Developer(+1)

Good idea, I still need to polish a lot of feedback from the game, but I'll take your idea into account.

Submitted(+1)

Very cool idea, I will definitely wait for full version ;)

Developer

Thanks for playing Fuzz Mihi, I think it would be interesting to finish this game and publish it.

Submitted(+1)

Damn!! Amazing Idea.

if you are developing full version of it count me in i'll buy it!!

Good luck!!

Developer(+1)

Thanks Jerry, still needs some good work on this game to make it professional and publishable for sale lol, but it's an idea I'm considering.

Submitted(+1)

Interesting idea, I like that. The grafics were well chosen. Must have been a lot of work to make the animations on the screen. I can also see that the concept was meant to be expanded but time in the game jam was limited. But what you did, you did it well!

Developer

Thank you very much TeamCarrot, it's good to know that even with the limited time of the Jam we were able to do something interesting. I hope to finish this game and publish it.

Neat concept! Though I wish there were more levels, and perhaps each individual component could have had a unique way to get it working rather than just clicking “Work”, for a bit more variety. But still, a nice idea to base a full game off! I appreciate the detail of the player actually playing the game, too.

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the very helpful feedback.

About the composition of the scene, I invested a good few hours trying to make it presentable lol I'm happy to know that you liked some details of the scene.

Submitted(+1)

Interesting concept and nice presentation :-)

Developer

Thanks foxtrot-roger, I invested a few hours trying to make it presentable.

Submitted(+1)

Great concept! Good work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing

I think the update method or something broke as none of the resources depleted. the game idea is good and it is pretty good in presentation.

The game's concept looked great, I'm sad it broke.
OR I could just be being an idiot.

Developer(+1)

I didn't understand exactly what broke or didn't run out lol.

Thanks for playing.

Submitted(+1)

That was a fun little experience, I'd be interested in seeing how you'd expand the concept. Excellent work!

Developer

Thanks for playing.

I have a lot of notes here that I can't invest a lot or start implementing for JAM, maybe I can't create something more extensive and coherent.

Submitted(+1)

Cool idea and the game looks really good.

This machine almost heats as fast as my own ;(

Nice one!

Developer(+1)

we had conceptual ideas for game jam that were a bit close lol

this machine really overheats really fast haha

Submitted(+1)

Not sure if you have enough to warrant a full game, but this was kind of entertaining.

Cool presentation though, I like how you have a game playing on the monitor.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! We're pleased you found the game entertaining and appreciated our presentation.

Very good game and excellent proposal.

Developer

Thanks
