very finicky controls, but creative!
Weird control scheme, but after getting used to it, it was actually pretty fun to control! Played up until 30, then threw myself off the cliffside. Could totally see this turning into a weird little rage game.
Very nice idea! Unfortunately I found the controls really hard to handle. I would also suggest having walls, because it seems very hard as it is right now.
Controls were a bit squirrelly effective within the game nevertheless.
Weird game. Did you make the inputs intentionaly weird? My brain couldn't handle it :D Neat idea
I did haha. I thought mechanically it wasn't much so the difficulty would add something, but since I was the one making it I kinda got used to it and underestimated how much others would find it weird. Thanks for the feedback
Neat idea, this is a fun take on this year's theme! I agree with what other folks are saying, the controls feel intentionally difficult and it makes it harder to get into the rhythm of the actual gameplay. I feel like I could get a higher score by leaving the game open for a few hours than I would in a few minutes of intentional rolling... Adding walls to the edge or introducing some other secondary objective or hazard could make your game more engaging!
thanks for the feedback!
oh, now I know what is happening on the other side of the board. I suspect the wasd is intentionally challenging. I may need an easy mode and up/down/left/right arrows. Hopefully you will add some updates after the contest! A turn based version would be cool, where you only move one space.
I really like the concept, and the game is fun to play. However, the mine moves way too fast to precisely position yourself near the cursor. especially if it is near the edge.
Great idea, but the mine is way to fast and controlls are a little confusing. Still, it is easier to play than minesweeper for me :D
thank for the feedback. I too can't play minesweeper lol
