An absolutely insane game! The bullet hell was super fun, especially by the end. The combat alone is super fun. The only issue I have at all is that the part where you play as a necromancer is a little boring. I think it would have been more interesting if the enemies were stronger, that way you're actually forced to play well if you want a better soldier. Still, this was absolutely incredible, with probably the best presentation I've seen in the jam. This could honestly be its own game made in a year and I probably wouldn't be able to tell, length aside.

How does your game fit the theme?
Once you die as the adventurer, you start playing as a minion of the necromancer. If you die to the adventurer while playing as the necromancer, you possess the adventurer and start playing as them, reversing your role with each death.

Really nice presentation! Like the skulls, they are beautiful! :D It was fun :)
Nailed it in all aspects! I agree that the lack of lose condition was kind of confusing but it was pretty fun despite that
Love the pychedelic visuals of the boss, and the mecanic of switching place between humans heroes and undead creatures. Good job for this creative approach of the theme!
Super stylish game, and I had a blast playing it! I absolutely loved the art of the bosses, and how they got more ostentatious and creepier with each level up. Music fit very well with the gameplay too.
My only complaint is that it wasn’t super obvious what the win condition was, since it seemed inevitable that “I” would level up over time as I would either win and level up or switch roles and kill the archer and it would level up. I think I won, because I got to approximately level 100 as the archer and then got a black screen with a green line on it and restarted, and you mentioned a bugged win screen in a comment below.
I like the game and concept, as well as the art. The progression was creative. My only issue is I can't figure out what the win requirement is, and wasn't sure when to stop playing.
Art is really good, gameplay is fun and creative. I love the adaptive music, such a nice touch.
Hi, I decided to play your game because you leave a nice review on mine and I'm so glad I did. You definitely nailed the theme, is so satisfying changing the roles and the art style is gorgeous!! The way the game feels is so nice both as the hero and the minion.
I'll only have a few minor suggestions, first at the beginning when you start playing with the hero it could have a tutorial to pick up the arrows I only realize the mechanic when I see it being done while playing the villain. And second, when playing as the villain it could have the mouse keys and space bar near their respective cooldowns to be easier to see which is which.
But I really loved the game, I think this game definitely will be on top of the ranks!
One of the best game i played for the jam, really addictive and engaging, really liked playing the boss more than the hero tho :D
I really liked your art style. The different necromancers felt very psychedelic and fit the name well. I think this also really nailed the theme! :D
Cool game!
I like the fact you have to switch roles multiple times to win!
The game feels pretty good to play and the art suits it very well!
Great job!
I loved it. Simple straight forward and almost addictive. I got to level 5. The you lose screen is great
The concept of both offense and defense working together is amazing, the visual effects are top-notch, it's awesome!
