How does your game fit the theme?
There are games where you control the fish and eat smaller fishes to grow. In this game you don't control the fish (or whale in this game) but move all the fishes around it and try to prevent the whale from trying to eat something it cannot eat.

Fun game! It would be cool if the speed of the fish was a little slower and was raised over time to ease the difficulty in. Good job!

Could you rate my game? It would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Great idea :) The unclickability of the fish was not ideal, but good job in 48 hours

Thank you!

I really liked this concept and the frantic pace kept me on my toes. I think this could benefit if the fish were a little easier to grab and if their was some warning when a new fish was approaching cause this would be a cool idea to flesh out post-jam.

I'm planning to continue working on this after the jam is over when I have time (I'm kinda busy atm. not sure when I have time). I want to fix the issues the game has now and overall make it better. So look out for updates in the future and thanks for the feedback!

Cute game!  Was a bit finicky to control as the Whale was all to happy to suicide at Mach 5, but nothing more time or development couldn't fix!  It was also hilarious

Simple game with a nice atmosphere but as other said a slower pace would have made it more enjoyable, it felt harder than playing startcraft 2 hehe

I enjoyed the idea of feeding the whale while it has a heat-rocket-searching-mechanism on its own.

The whale and the fish were too fast for my taste. Maybe you could adjust the speed to go up as the game progresses. It felt too difficult when there were more than a few on the screen.

Disclaimer: I played on a touchpad.

you can check and rate my game if you want :)

Solid concept that's fun to play. I agree that the hitboxes could be bigger and overall a little more forgiving but it's still fun to play around while you can

Submitted(+2)

Love the concept! I wish the hitboxes were more generous :'(

Cool!  Sometimes it feels like I don't have enough time to respond, but it's still a really neat game

Quite an out of the box idea.. the game was a bit fast and hard to tell what the whale can eat, but once you get it... it is quite an engaging game. The "NOOOOOOO dont go there " moments were precious! Great submission.

Please do check out our game too

Creativity is great here.  Fish can be a lil hard to pick up but it is engaging!  Love that whale!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yeah, I noticed that smaller fish can be hard to pick up, I tried to fix it but I ran out of time to do it. I didn't have that problem when I was testing in Unity.
