I like being able to place down units to fight and defend a dungeon. It's a shame you couldn't upload the latest version. I think there is a lot of potential for using different units to build different strategies. It would be great to see more synergy between the units and the dungeon to better support different strategies, and maybe some way to incentivise spreading out units to use the entire room. I think adding traps or unique room features could make unit selection and placement really interesting.

One thing I noticed is that the goal of the game, defeating the heroes early, prevents people from really exploring all parts of the game. You want to play with the units on the second floor, but you also want to wipe out the heroes before they reach it. I'm not sure if you planed to do more after the first group is defeated, but I think it would be nice if you had to defend against increasingly stronger groups as you keep defeating them. This would allow the player to experience all parts of the game, whilst still encouraging them to go all out with defending the dungeon. This could also allow people to revisit earlier rooms / floors and make some small upgrades to their initial floors.

I had some issues with spawning mobs: when trying to switch which mob I am placing, if the selection panel overlapped the dungeon floor I would end up accidentally spawning a mob at that location. It would also be nice if I could see some indicator of the mobs health while they are fighting.

I played the Browser version. Great potential. I played Dungeon Keeper way back then, it was a little throwback for me with this one. It's shame that you accidentally uploaded the wrong version. I'd be happy to play more after the jam.

Really great potential here, love the concept of preparing floors as the heroes come.

ok i really enjoyed this game, i enjoyed playing RTS games as a kid and making concaves and stuff was really satisfying in this game. However i feel if you beat the game too early on you won't be able to utilize any content that you made further in the game.

Wow, thats pretty nice!

I see you used assets for arts and sound. Thats fine, you've put it all together in a tight little game I actually enjoyed.

It's great that you follow heroes progression from floor to floor, unlock new monsters.

Add some traps, A little polishing and  sound effects and this would be perfect.

Really well implemented theme! The dungeon crawler idea where you control the dungeon is great!! I cant wait to see this game a little bit more polished! (It reminds me my own game, they have A LOT in common)

Fits the theme well and is a promising idea, but I think it could be greatly improved with a little bit more polishing: Add more SFX, maybe some VFX, and maybe a bit more variety with the monster types (they all seem to just do some damage and have some health), add some meaning to the environment (For example, are the rooms behind doors doing something?) Currently, it is a fun concept, but it seems that all player choices (what monsters and where to put them) lead basically to the same result.

The idea is really creative, the detection  systems can get a little buggy sometimes but fun game nonetheless, Great job!!

Fun little idea that seems to be more a question of 'when' you'll win, rather than if.  For some reason the first time i played hte dwarf insta died. But i can see this becoming a full game for sure

This game fits the rule really well!

My biggest gripe with it is with the goal of the game, it seems a bit odd to me. The point now is to kill all the players, which seems obvious at first thought. But the whole point is that your playing as the dungeon master, and the goal of a dungeon master is to make the game fun. So a system where you need to get the heroes through the level with a challenge seems like a better idea to me.
Just a lose idea: maybe the player has a select group of enemies it needs to place down, but not with the intent of killing the players but making it so they can defeat them all and reach the exit?

But still neat little game!
