Very clean presentation! It's impressive how polished it feels for a game jam game, and I enjoyed the puzzles. Nice job!

Super unique and very polished!

Very well polished game! I love seeing the different ways people play with the theme; I had assumed it meant the player swapping roles with the obstacles, but there's just so much else that can be done with it.

I really like this level design philosophy of "here's a few constraints, there is no one solution." I know there are lots of games that get designed like this, but man, there REALLY need to be more games that get designed like this. Great work!

This was great! I had the most fun making "alternate" solutions - if you ever expand this game I think you should add a "score" where you detect how many unused dots there are at the end of a line so that people can go for high scores :) Loved the art style and had lots of genuine fun playing!

Some of my fav alternate solutions:

My level designer says there are no "alternate" solutions. You get to make the picture.

Thanks for playing! :D

Yeah, I meant just the ones suggested by the dots & picture. The space for expression is good design for sure :P

Really unique approach to the theme. It was a bit tough for my dumb brain but still had a fun time playing.

a cute idea! Making a little path for the liner to line, it's a good way to tell a little story that makes you feel tranquil.
id love to see more levels here (as well as fixing the rope spawn bug on level 4) but it's awesome, and it's definitely one I'd love to come back to <3

very attractive design and sound, cool game!

I loved this game!! The minimalism of the graphic design, the originality of the concept, the narration through the levels... Clearly one of my favorite entries so far <3 Great job!!

Very creative! Congrats.

This game is lovely, the puzzles were all fair and albeit abit finnicky. My favorite thing about the game is the way the game prompts you to draw different objects and tells a short and simple story.

The presentation is great too, loved the simple vibe to it, felt really at peace playing it.

The overall experience is excellent, I had a good time with every level I played. My only issue is that I encountered a bug where in the extraterrestrial level where the ropes never spawn. Great Job!

this was so good!!! i literally was just playing it for fun at one point, it's a fully polished puzzle game that actually made me have "ah HA" moments and made me have to think in a different way! Good job!!!

Played the entire thing, it was really fun!

So what is reversed?

Developer

It is a little unclear, so we've re-clarified on the submission page:

It's Connect-the-Dots but you are the dotter, not the liner.

Another way to put it would be Connect-the-Dots has fixed points where you solve the lines, but The Big Picture has fixed lines and you solve the points.

Y'know when you want to make sense of something? You have to connect the dots.
