Feel great to play even with it being so simple

Thank you! I spent a lot of time trying to make the game feel right. I think I could have pushed it further, but there's only so much I could do in 48 hours.

The game is kinda hard because the AI is too strong, or maybe I'm just bad who knows.
Grabbing the asteroids is really cool, but they're a bit hard to grab because of the small hitbox
Not a super good looking game artwise, but the art does it's job.

The hard part is trying to make an AI that's good enough to avoid dying to randomly thrown asteroids, but that's still beatable if a user gets clever with how they throw the asteroids, yet also can't be super easily cheesed with a specific, simple setup. I don't think I quite struck that balance.

Yeah, I definitely could have stood to make the small asteroids easier to grab.

This is kinda fun, The grabbing of asteroids is kinda hard and stars feel kinda overwhelming, damn the Ship shooting algo is kinda spot on.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I probably could have stood to make things stand out more from the background. I also probably should've doubled the size of all the asteroids so that the smallest ones weren't quite so hard to grab. It could've also worked just to make the grabbable hitbox larger than the hitbox that's used to detect collisions.

Cool game! The AI of the ship is very well made. Wish I was better grabbing the asteroids! Would have needed bigger hitboxes for them, especially when they move fast.
Really nice with the game screen in the middle, and the possibility to move the asteroids outside of it.

Thank you! I spent most of the second day on the ship AI, so I'm glad it turned out well.

As for grabbing asteroids while they're moving quickly, the only place they should be able to have much speed is inside the arena (there's no drag inside the arena, but there is outside of it), and it's impossible to grab the asteroids once they enter the arena. I probably should have made that more clear in the actual game, I can see how it could be confusing.
