I felt confused by the controls at first; I didn't realize that I was supposed to be placing cars instead of playing as them. But as far as game jams go, the presentation, enjoyment, and over all polish is among the best of what jams can offer.
My only real complaint: I'm not sure how strongly this game adheres to the theme. It's excellent in its own right, yes. But when we ask "why did the chicken cross the road", we aren't speaking from the chicken's perspective; I didn't feel like I was playing a different or opposing role.

The game is actually a reverse role on the Crossy Road game. We of course took some artistic liberty with the concept

Love the truck just like everyone else. Was a little hard to figure out how long after placing one car I could place the next and 1234 never felt consistent to me for some reason but great take on this twist
Thanks for playing! Yeah the UI could have been a bit clearer, since there was a display in the bottom right that showed the car count which gradually recharged over time. The 1,2,3,4 input issue was fixed in the windows EXE, but we couldn't export it to browser unfortunately.
Oh I completely missed the timer in the bottom right, feels good to work around it now!

It's so fun, the game is very satisfactory when you use the truck and a lot of chickens are in the screen.
I used to play a lot of Crossy Road, so this was a lot of fun to play. Everything from effects, music and art is very polished. Driving over a horde of chickens with a drifting semi-truck also feels disturbingly satisfying
