Ants in space! I really enjoyed the different strategies you could use to make and gather resources. Overall, really good game and beautiful art and music! Hope there's a part 2 with more intergalactic ants and crazy transformations haha.

Hello, composer from the game "Crescendo" here! Really cute characters and smooth animations. I could see this being a relaxing and chill game, especially if you have a little cabin you can go to afterwards for upgrades or to buy furniture to decorate your cabin. I could also see sheep cosmetics haha, I think that would be really cool.
Hello, composer from the game "Crescendo" here! I absolutely loved this game! The game has a well written story with Egyptian mythology and has amazing game mechanics. The overall feel of the game is well balanced and has a lot of room for strategy, which is something I loved. Definitely an underrated game, and I hope more people try it out! This game definitely has a future post jam, but now I must go beat the final enemy since I almost had her before she killed me!
Hello, composer from the game "Crescendo" here! Honestly, really wholesome game. I really liked the idea of scaling through different ages and found an emotional experience with the art and wholesome music. The game seemed to be pretty polished as well with lots of levels and great game design. I really enjoyed this game, and I hope you plan to do a post jam version with more levels, and maybe even an emotional story.
Hello, composer from the game "Crescendo" here! Very cute game, and I like that the animations manage to match the rhythm of the music! I also loved that there was a story attached to this and made me really want to free the baby hippos! I could definitely see a whole game around this concept with different levels and villains/bosses maybe. The ideas are honestly limitless when it comes to hippos in space and mad scientists haha. One idea though is that maybe there could be various amounts of skills and abilities that you learn, and I'm honestly thinking something like Mega Man does with their abilities.
Composer from the game "Crescendo" here! I found the game pretty simple and extremely fun once you figure out how to play. The visuals are among one of my favorites from the jam so far! The music is very chill and fits the atmosphere so well. I'd love to see a full release of this game and think it's got a lot of potential for success on being unique. I did find the knobs to be a little difficult to adjust sometimes, the main problem being that sometimes my cursor would go off the hitbox of the knobs when adjusting, but it didn't seem to be an extreme issue as I did manage to quickly adapt to it. The other issue I ran into was that when selecting the level, it was kind of hard to see which level I was selecting since the hitboxes also seemed to be off, but I imagine you probably didn't have the time to implement a highlight. Overall, this is a very unique game, and one of my favorite visuals mixed with a very chill soundtrack so far! Definitely incredible what you were able to accomplish in 96 hours!
Hello, composer from the game "Crescendo" here! Really cool idea to use MIDI notes as platforms and the layout of a DAW to construct a puzzle platformer! Definitely a unique game and has a lot of potential to succeed as a full game. I found the recording of the notes to add a nice layer of realism when composing music, so that was really cool! The level design was also very clever especially since it had to match the music of the game, so again, amazing work!
Hello, composer from "Crescendo" here! Really cool idea trying to make a musical scales game mixed with bullet hell haha. It was cool to see the drawings be drawn out as you completed the scales, and I managed to get a high score of 13 in the endless octave mode! I could see this being a game to help people learn their scales though and I thought that was really cool, so I'm definitely interested to see every scale in a post jam version! Especially if you add classical music (maybe Jazz too, or some other genre that uses the scale) and try and guess the composer/era. This could be really beneficial for anyone learning classical music (or some other genre of music) or just music theory in general.
Hello, composer from the game "crescendo" here! I liked the artwork and the music and thought they both worked well together. I definitely see the potential of this game post jam, so I'd be curious to see a polished version! With that being said I can say that I did enjoy the game and found it kind of relaxing.
Hello, composer from the game "Crescendo" here! I really enjoyed this game and thought the mechanics fit the jam theme quite nicely. The game seemed really polished and I was not expecting voice acting, so I was pleasantly surprised by that! The only thing I found frustrating was that there was a time limit when changing the size of the cube. I'm not sure if it's just a skill issue or not haha, but the time limit did make it harder. I loved everything else about the game though from the art to even the music of the game. I felt everything was well thought out and I enjoyed the game design of the levels as well.
Composer from the game "Crescendo" here! Really nice presentation! I absolutely adore the art style and the medievalish music. Definitely some unique game mechanics and almost like a 2D platformer mixed with puzzle. Interesting to see this sort of storytelling through the events happening in the scenery. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the whole project and I applaud your team for that! Overall, I had a great experience playing your game and definitely look forward to seeing what you guys can accomplish next!
Hello, composer from the game "Crescendo" here! I absolutely loved this cute penguin game! Those blue whole notes definitely got me in the end after I was on a streak of about 4 minutes or so haha. I thought "In the Hall of the Mountain King" was an excellent choice for a soundtrack that starts off small and gradually grows more and more chaotic just like the game does! Definitely enjoyed this game, and now I'm gonna go try and beat my record now haha.
Hello, composer from the game "Crescendo" here! Really cool game! Reminded me a lot of Mario odyssey when you use your hat to ride on the electrical lines. The game felt very magical though, especially with the vibrant colors and the magical soundtrack. I saw the speedrun video in the comments as well and thought that was really cool that you could do some of those things that I never even though of when I was playing haha.
Hello, composer from the game "Crescendo" here! I thought it was an interesting idea to mix a farming game with a defense game that has huge crops and rodents/insects. I really liked the animations and art style in this game and found the music to be quite engaging as well. I started off with just the sun flowers and found the game pretty chill, but then as I bought the cheaper crops in quantity, I soon regretted it as so many enemies spawned haha. I'd love to see a post jam version of this game! It'd probably be easier on the players if we could see some sort of signal that says where enemies are, but other than that, I really enjoyed the game!
Hello, composer from "Crescendo" here! Really cool that instead of mana you had a Tetris thing going on. The game was really fun and had catchy music, which really helped the overall feel of this game while you strategize how to make your pieces fit haha. I ended up running into a bug in round 2, but I'm not exactly sure what happened. All I know is that my turn ended, then the cards were shuffling, and it got stuck in the animation, I think. I'm not really sure and wish I could give more info on that, but I really had fun playing the game and hope to see more!
Composer from "Crescendo" here! Wow, the artwork was really well done, and I absolutely love it! The dark and eerie imagery + music really made the game have a personality. I enjoyed solving the puzzles and really enjoyed the game design for each level. I could easily see this being a full release post jam! Definitely an underrated game in my opinion!
Composer from "Crescendo" here! I really enjoyed this! I loved the music and really loved the artwork of the game. I actually played through the game twice because I realized that each item had a little note attached to them and I wanted to see what they all said lol. The level with all the words scared me haha because it seemed impossible at first, but I solved it with trial and error (twice).
Composer from the game "Crescendo" here! I really enjoyed this game and found it pretty unique compared to a lot of other games in this jam. I really liked the customization and thought it was well worth the time allocated to personalize our experience. The art and music were really nice as well, and I found the gameplay compelling.
Hello, composer from the game "Crescendo" here! Really cool game and take on the jam theme! I really enjoyed the game design of the puzzles. The art and the music were also really nice and gave the game a nice vibe to it, making solving the puzzle really pleasing and satisfying. I also really liked that there was a YouTube tutorial in the game page! That definitely helped whenever I was stuck.
Hello, composer from the game Crescendo here! I agree with other comments, the game fits the jam theme! The game was pretty fun and had a nice art style. I kinda wish there was some upbeat music to make the game feel more tense, but maybe that could be implemented post jam. Overall, really simple concept and has a lot of growth potential for a full release if there are leaderboards and maybe even a multiplayer function where other players can play the other drones.
