I really like the cute bugs and overall aesthetics. There is a very solid gameplay loop here. The one thing I wasn't sure of is when I would win or lose, I'm probably missing something there. Great work. It's cool to see a LOVE2D game.

To answer your question, there are two end states to a level; if you destroy the ship or if you survive all of its attacks.
There is a progress bar at the top of the screen, but upon play testing people didn’t seem to notice it lol
so we’re planning to make that more apparent in future updates 👍

I've been informed that on some windows computers the game does not work because it was incorrectly packaged.

Currently I am creating games with Unity but I wanted to check out Love2D for my next project, is it easy to learn?
I personally found lua & love2d easier to learn and simpler to use than Python (which is really saying something lmao 😂)
The one thing I would recommend though, is to use the class library from https://github.com/jonstoler/class.lua. (since lua doesn't come with natively built in "classes" the same way other languages do)

Just when i thought i cracked the standard strategy, level 3 throws a curveball at me. You can feel the love put in this game. The intro cinematic was great !
(Also i didn't think id' find Cornifer and Zote the mighty in a space invader themed game)

Unique twist on PvZ (Although it really resembles zombotany). One problem I have is that shooter aliens feel pretty useless since they usually fire at nothing. Other than that decent tower defence
