quite a interesting multi tasking game! thought would be coool if i can drag and drop the enemies around

You trying to break my headphones and ears with that opening beep?

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

No, but in my defense it may be useful as a volume check before playing the game! I hope it wasn't too bad. :D

The presentation here is really neat - I love how you evoked the Atari 2600 in the art, and the music is a lot of fun. As for the gameplay, I found "set every unit to attack and wait until your screen looks like a Sheet Music Boss video" to be a winning strategy.

Developer (1 edit)

Ahah, yeah that's very exploitable atm. I ended up not having enough time to balance out attacks, so right now it's kinda random. I like the music sheet comparison, that's pretty funny.

Great game! I like the options you have to choose between. And cool art I love it!

We had the same general idea but you took it in an interesting way making a strategy game. I really like what you've done, but I think making it turn based might make it a lot easier to keep up with what's going on. Some more enemy types would also be nice. Either way, great job!

Interesting concept! Perhaps a turn-based system would be appropriate here, given the number of possibilities, or faster access to ship abilities with more dynamic gameplay. Either way, I enjoyed it!

Cool theme take off! Was much fun to play. I always kept the strategy of having one defense guy and multiple attackers behind. with increasing levels it became more and more stressful to keep the stuff up. The concept is pretty cool! I think of beeing able to drag and drop the guys would have been cool. Good Job!

Developer

Drag and drop is a great idea, Thank you for playing and for the feedback.

keep up the good work.

but i think there should be a punishment /or rescourcesystem. I could brute force all the levels by not moving and just attacking

Developer (1 edit)

That's true, the mechanics need further balancing, I had to cut down the recharging mechanic an hour before deadline because it was bugging out.

Awesome sound effects, really captured the mood nicely (:

I really appreciate that you didn't just make reverse Space Invaders, but actually turned it into a strategy game as well. The first game I've seen so  far that didn't just do the "play as the other guy" thing but actually did something unique with it as well. Nicely done!

Developer

Thank you!
