How does your game fit the theme?
We started with map-type games like Civ and Polytopia, but instead of being the player who tries to acquire resources based on the terrain, you control the terrain to try and help the player grow.

it was fun getting to organize all the tiles and I like how they changed over time. But I was having trouble connecting what all the resources in the top corner UI meant and how any of my choices effected any of that. still in the amount of time we had, I like the minimal but expressive graphic art direction. Great job!
I think it's an awesome concept and it was fun to play but something is missing... Such as music or sound effects. I sometimes got 2 points per turn and sometimes only one... I read the instructions but didn't really understand why... Nonetheless it's a really cool game, especially with the little time there was... Good game!
I like the idea. Some sound and music would be really helpful to the enjoyment!
That was pretty relaxing to play. I think one thing that might help with the pacing of the game is adding the ability to progress a certain amount of turns at once, for example I was saving for water tiles but had to spam the next turn button. Super awesome concept though! Can't wait to see more!
Interesting concept!
Really cool idea, I was able to get placing tiles and see my little lads moving around. I think this is actually really close to being something very fun.
The biggest issue like others mentioned, and you seem to be aware of already, is the lack of feedback. Specifically I would say it isn't super clear at the start where you can play tiles onto the board. Then the biggest one is that the villagers don't give an idea of what they are doing, or why they are doing it. I noticed my villagers going into the sandy beach I made, although I wasn't sure why they were doing it.
Once again, really impressive for 48 hours, it seems really close to being a neat "god-sim"
It looks pretty cool, but it kept saying that I didn't have the point to place a tile or to edit the tile.
Looks cool. Wish u had a bit more time to polish it up.
We're not sure how to play but it looks really cool!
Nice little game, good presentation!
Two main things I feel missing are more feedback from the game (I couldn't tell if my actions made a difference) and keyboard controls for tile selection.
Couldn't figure out how to play it :(
Thanks for the feedback! We were running out of time towards the end of the game jam :( and even we noticed it's very difficult to figure out how to play the game.
Nice foundation of a resource management game, but I think it could be elevated by having milestones that unlock new tiles. Other than that, it's pretty solid 👍
Really interesting concept! Could definitely use a bit more of a tutorial on how to get the game running
