what the hell?? hahaha very funny and original game
The game itself has a mesmerizing vibe to it, and I spent way longer than I care to admit just fooling around with it. That being said, some sound effects or other forms of player feedback would be great - it wasn't always clear when I'd died as the cockroach, so every time after the fist hit the ground I had to spend a few seconds working out if I'd switched or not. Also, some sort of high score system would be great - maybe it counts up when you're the cockroach and counts down when you're the human given the goals of each mode?
Still though, great game!
Loved the art aesthetic, reminds me of some early 2010 flash games.
This game got it's own way of doing things, from the title to visuals, to gameplay! I love it =)
Banger visuals & a cool unique switching concept. Would work really well as a Warioware-esque microgame, but as a standalone, it needs some sort of goal.
Yeah ofc, i started the jam late and had to scrape the points/stamina and goal system cause it wasn't working (+ did my game while watching yt tutorials lol), but thank you ! ♥
The struggles of a limited time game jam 😩
Looks absolutely fantastic. I love that sort of use of real life assets, you don't see it enough!
Neat idea for needing to jump between two different roles, however it definitely needed a score count of some sort (which I assume was just a lack of time issue).
Great job, would like to see it worked on further!
I thought the visual style was very cool, was a good effect and the animations where smooth.
However, the sound effects didn't always play,
when the bug was in the corner the it would sometimes be impossible to hit and so the bot wouldn't even try,
and there was no score or goal not much of a driving factor, and I think gameplay needs to be more of a focus during development.
Spinny roach go brrr
