With some fix this could be fun! At this moment is a little bit difficult and it lacks some feedback (explecially when you hit the monsters), want to try it with those changes!!!

Woah the game gets hard pretty fast!
It is a good  idea for a game and has a basic, but finished, gameplay loop. Can be easily expanded in mechanics with more time in hands.
Also you are one of the few with a github repo, which is nice for others to learn a bit.

Thanks for trying it out! Yeah it was quite hard to balance the difficulty increase with so little time and few opportunities to have someone else test it haha. I do want to add the things i wasn't able to finish during the jam later and polish it a bit (well a lot actually).

Also, thanks for reminding me of the github repo, because i just noticed i forgot to push half of the commits so it was missing most of the game lol

Balancing and testing are indeed quite time consuming. I also experienced difficulties with these aspects during my development, so I can relate.
I recommend trying longer game jams as well. I once attempted a one-month jam (although it may have been too long), and it was satisfying to be able to implement everything I wanted in time (I also didn`t need to stay awake for 48 hours XD)

really fun idea might just need a bit of polish

bit of polish is quite generous haha, a lot of things were rushed or are missing. Thanks for playing though! :)
