Really cool game and really cool design ! ^^
Thanks for trying it out!
Really great art and sound! The gameplay concept is creative, since you’re the AWS guy scaling a web service. Also, no major bugs!
Glad you enjoyed :)
Ah... who doesn't love KWS? You know, that thing that offers reliable, scalable, and inexpensive cloud computing services. (I absolutely love this idea).
Though, as others have said below, it'd be nice if the game can have some tutorial and explanation to whatever is going on. :)
Glad you enjoyed the idea!
Well I did have time to do a tutorial, I don't think my body could take staying up any longer :(
I added a written tutorial to the actual itch page
Cool idea with nice art. I somehow felt there was both nothing to do and too much to do, but that was probably just me not understanding the main gameplay loop.
Yeah unfortunately I didn't add a tutorial to the game itself. I've added a rundown on the itch page.
Sadly, I wasn't able to understand how exactly am I earning money, which is a problem when it's the goal of the game. Also, it appears the shop is a bit broken (often price shown != money spent)
Had a lot of time playing! Great game!!
I really enjoy the art style and animations, they feel heavy just like the reality of working in a hot, loud, thankless server room! I would love to see a little more indication for the player as to what they are supposed to do but after experimenting I think its pretty manageable. I am not sure if I missed it or not but a clock or something to indicate the passing of time would be fantastic so you know how much of your workday you have left.
Glad you enjoyed!
I'm working on a post jam update that fixes a few bugs as well as introduces some new upgrades (such as a clock and a revenue counter)
As others have said, the art is awesome and the concept is cool, but I'm just confused about what exactly I'm supposed to do. I understand that I can check the server status, but its not really explained what the numbers actually mean. Sometimes I make a ton of money and sometimes I make barely any. Still a pretty cool game.
absolute masterpiece. It's a very good game for the amount of time given.I could very well see it becoming a successful game if you continued to work in it.I would honestly play this in my free time if it had more features
I'm working on a post jam update so make sure to check back in a week or so!
The art is very eye catching! The goofy pace of the servers flying in combined with slowly walking them around really stuck with me. I will never underestimate a mouse upgrade ever again.
The art is fantastic, just oozing with corporate angst. Unlocking the mouse was such a relief, but I was sad when I realized it didn't also unlock clicking. Good stuff!
The art style is a lot of fun. I loved how frustrating the mouse movement was and that there is an upgrade to make using the computer faster. I did not understand the map what I was looking at with the map at first until I actually moved it around.
This game seems really cool but I keep getting soft locked on the computer, I can't move the mouse.
It's not explained, but you move the mouse with WASD and click with E. You can buy an upgrade for the mouse after day 1.
