I got to play the game now on my Windows PC, and I really liked the concept and how it ties to the theme! About the game itself, I got cornered twice as soon as I saw the monster with no open place to go (or so it really seemed). I really expected to at least take a couple turns more before getting caught. After that I exited the game by mistake, and then it would no longer opened sadly. All in all I liked it, but it was kinda difficult to enjoy in my experience ;(

A true horror game! My congrats on making it in 48 hours! I tip my hade for how you fit into the theme. Though, maybe work on enemy AI - it's clipping through textures, and the speed is also similar to the player.

Also for you to note the game is very demanding - my old laptop had a slide show, and my gaming laptop went to full-power mode (sounds like boing) - in future, you may want to think about optimization.

Dang. This game is kinda creepy! You made it in just 48 hours! It looks incredible if that's the case. The ambiance is what gets you. It is a simple yet fun concept and the enemies are creepy. I like that the enemies are silent and don't growl or roar. I like that the music is also not loud. It's perfect for creating an ambiance like this. Thank you for offering a Linux build for people like me. Windows executables require me to use Steam Proton which is a few extra steps, so I am glad you devs like you offer a Linux binary for people like me. And Godot oh Godot. It makes things simpler and nicer, doesn't it?  Keep up the good work!

Couldn’t play in Linux. Maybe I’m not tech savvy enough, but I definitely could play some other games, sorry…

I think you should right-click the game and go to properties, then go to permissions and check the 'allow file to run as a program' option

Found launching solution standard. You need unzip, change '.x86_64' file to executable (with "sudo chmod +x  'Diorama LINUX.html.x86_64'"), then launch it with command "./'Diorama LINUX.html.x86_64'"
But dear Autor-of-this-game, please note that spaces in filenames are not good - especially for Linux

I was able to get it to run on Linux by setting Diorama LINUX.html.x86_64 to executable (i.e. `chmod +x Diorama\ LINUX.html.x86_64`), depending on your DE, you can probably also do something like right click -> permissions -> "Allow this file to run as a program"

As for my experience playing the game, it was definitely unexpected to see a light horror game in this Jam! I was a bit confused on how to actually play, but enjoyed the interesting use of the theme. Good job :)

I got as far as first mining the red resource. Seems like the enemy can clip through walls, which made doing anything after that difficult. I like the idea of a puzzle box that you examine from the outside can interact with it from the inside. I also think the art does a really good job of setting the mood. Main critique is that trying to escape from the monster inside of a 3d maze didn't mesh with the rest of the feeling. I would have rather seen platforming or moving parts inside the diarama controlled from outside or something.
