How does your game fit the theme?
In software development, the term "scaling up" refers to building a program to be as efficient as possible in order to handle a large amount of input and data. We connected this to the theme of the jam by having the player construct and maintain a server farm that has to deal with more and more data being fed in and improve efficiency. Hence, you are *building* a server *to scale* up.

Amazing factory-ness you got in such a short time. I like how complex it can get.
I wish some of the tiles had a description, some like the bridge I had to test in order to see what really happens (and lose a few of my poor dollars).
The arrows are very helpful, but there could be a way to not show them once the full system is working, it would be neater.
Maybe I didn't find it, but is there a way to speed up the game? It would help replayability, when you get the hang of it, the start is too slow.
The tutorial is helpful but I got a bit lost on my first playthrough. Though something more visual with all the tiles functioning wouldn't be feasible for a jam.
A nice song ramping up the pace would do wonders for this game!
I deleted a server once with a file in it, the file kept existing at least. Good job on dealing with that possibility!
At one time I had 0 dollars, barely managed to put an output back, but then suddenly I got 370 dollars after a file.
Very nice, I just wish I was better at it because I kept losing money and couldn't make much long in the game, barely got a couple download inputs. Congratulations!
We're really glad you enjoyed our game :)
We also appreciate your feedback.
There is no way to speed up the game, that probably should have been a feature in hindsight.
For the $0 to $370 issue, I think what happened is that whenever a conveyor belt gets backed up a bunch of files pile up on top of each other and then when they enter a server the way we programmed the files stacking up lead to all the files being simultaneously being turned into output files which isn't a perfect system and leads to some bugs like that.
Again, thank you for playing our game.
Really relatable, but enjoyable :D
I found the rotation a bit hard to understand and would have loved a way to indicate, if green files are piling up inside servers - took me some time to understand that ^^
But all in all an amazing concept and great game!
We're glad you enjoyed our game and we also appreciate your feedback! (admittedly it would have been nice to have some way of indicating the status/state of certain tiles but we weren't sure how to implement that in a good way during the jam)
Awesome work! I’d love to see a fleshed out version of this.
Thank you! We're glad you enjoyed our game :)
I just love this type of factory game! But I did find the controls for placing tiles, especially curved conveyor belts a bit lackluster
We're glad you enjoyed this game and appreciate your feedback :)
It seems to be a common criticism that the controls for placing tiles isn't the best and we will note that for any future projects.
I love this sort of game! The placing felt a bit janky at times. There is a limited selection of tiles but they still create an engaging challenge and allow for creativity. Had a lot of fun!
We're glad you enjoyed our game, thank you so much for your feedback as well :)
Would really like to play more of it! With some better mechanics for block placment it would be sooo nice!
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the game :)
Liked the idea, and the overall aesthetic with the art and sfx match perfectly, reminds me of the old nitrome games.
Thank you, we're happy you enjoyed our game :)
