Really creative take on the theme! We love the pixel art! Awesome job!
This is a very cute and simple idea, with a fitting art style, music, and good execution. Well done!
I also made a game based on a scale, but it's a game of cards and plays very differently.
Scale buddies!
(Thanks for playing!)
It has a touch of papers please, I found the music very nice. I instantly got into the mood and worked weighing boxes hahaha. The numbers that appear are sometimes very random, it would be better if you could limit them. I liked the game! It has its own style!
Thanks for playing! Agreed, it needs some work on balancing
Cute little game.
Fun lil' game. Loved how it grew so hectic right off the bat :D
Also...
Now they grew OUT OF SCALE.
:D
EDIT: Looking at the thumbnails, looks like I'm missing the background gradient?
Out of scale!
That is indeed a bug! I wonder if anyone else is experiencing it?
Do you have the file "Projects\Jam2024\Assets\background.png"?
Yeah, the background.png is indeed in the correct place...
Does it supposed to fade in with level progression or something? Because I was only been able to play up to level 3...
It's always there, the resolution is a bit odd for the texture. What graphics card do you use?
RTX 2070.
This was a pretty interesting game, kind of gives me a Papers Please vibe with how you sit at a work station and have to sort out objects (in this case boxes rather than passports) in order to make money. I think it's a fun little concept. I liked the artwork and the background music was pretty nice. Good job :)
(Also, did you make this without a game engine? That's pretty cool if you did)
Thanks for playing! If it reminds you of an actually good game, then we did our jobs well :D
(Yes, this is using a completely custom code base)
Nice game rent and monetization mechanics are very sweet, a project open for development
Thanks for playing!
