Really cool game! The puzzles are really fun! Good job!
Thanks :D
Waaaww this game is soo well designedd the puzzles are sooo good! honestly games like yours are supposed to win, not something that looks and feels very good to play but just barely fits the theme by forcing a mechanic! (your game looks and feel good too dont worry) , your game is amazing my dude 5 stars! please make it a full game, the levels are really good!
Wow, high praise! Thank you so much! I have considered making this one a full game, but I don't think it's likely because I'm going to be very busy for the foreseeable future and I actually have another idea I want to develop in that time. It might happen, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. Glad you enjoyed it!
This was really cool! It was really nice to see a properly thought out set of puzzle mechanics and levels and get a full game experience from a jam game. The game had a lot of aha moments and neat polish, esp with block scale affecting things between separate scenes. The music was also really good! My only note really is that hitting esc to access the menu just kicks you out of the entire game, I wanted to check the controls to see if there was a reset after I got soft llocked on a later puzzle and it ended up sending me all the way back to the start ;-;. But overall I really enjoyed it!
Yeah, using esc to go back to the menu was one of the last things I added so I was pretty tired at that point and just kinda went "eh, the game's short enough to get back to where you were pretty fast" but def should've made it save where you were up to at least in the same play session. Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it!! :D
a bit hard to separate player, resizable boxes etc. shooting straight down while standing on something resizable doesn't work. platformer mechanics feels fun and responsive. fun use of the theme
Yeah, I did notice the problem with shooting straight down on resizable platforms but by the time I'd figured it out I was too tired for bug fixing. Thanks for the feedback!
Really enjoyed the platforming and puzzle elements of this. There aren't a lot of games in the jam I've engaged with on a level that I felt the need to finish it! Nice work. Loved the music too!
Ayy, big compliments! Glad you enjoyed it!
This was one of the best implementations of the theme I've seen so far.
Everything felt so intuative, and the puzzles hit just the right spot for me in difficulty.
The ending was especially cool, very much an "ah ha" moment. Very unique way to do the credits.
Thank you!! The credits was one of the first ideas I had and I just kinds went "yeah, I need to do that." Glad it was a good difficulty too, I have a habit of making these things too hard lmao
Nice game ! The mechanism of scaling up and down with a laser is a very good idea and fits well the theme. Otherwise, I think the visual aspect of the game could be improved.
I encountered a bug, so I was softlock.
(Bug fixed) Very nice!(Comment copied from the game page)
Great concept, nice with the simple controls, and yet a wide range of applications. Good game!
Thank you!!
