Cool Idea!

Really liked the last puzzle, stumped me for a little bit.

The story premise is such a nice touch! Generally attached to X and Y now, and I'm just going to imagine they got back to their engines after the last level!

Love the core gameplay too, really encourages plenty of solutions to the puzzles! :)

Developer

We're glad you enjoyed it! X and Y did indeed get back to the game engine, We just didn't have time to do an outro cinematic

Great story concept, really fun game concept and well executed. Puzzles were interesting and not too difficult, but weren't too easy either, and the bespoke soundtrack does wonders for the theme and style. Great job!

Took me a while to understand that each characters can scale a different axis, but besides that, had a lot of fun. Very fun concept!

What you've made here is a VERY cool game that is almost didn't "get" while playing, here's why:

I didn't get at first that each character is controlling a different axis, that platforms scale both directions, and it's not very clear that X can do it from both sides. It might need a bit more tutorialization, more distinct characters maybe? It also is a testament to your (too?) intuitive design for the first puzzles: I simply tried to bring each character to its platform, and it worked naturally, leading me to thinking that platforms had a built-in scale direction.

I'm writing all this criticism because they're minor issues, and because when I understood the mechanics it immediately clicked and my brain EXPLODED because how cool the concept was: that's an excellent start for a future game, and I'd buy it. Congratulations!

I really love the concept, the graphics are super cute—it's adorable! The idea of puzzle games for two is fantastic (we struggled, but it was fun, hahaha).

This game is the perfect execution on a puzzle with scale and u made it unique with 2 different players. The art theme is very cute and honestly perfect. This game is just perfect from all departments art, music/sfx, and game mechanics. Beautiful work!

So game is such a cool idea and such a great execution.  Very well done.  It's cute and very original.  This absolutely feels like a puzzle game on steam.   I'm jealous of the creativity and game design that went it into.

Thank you very much!

I want to say, incredible polish. Although the characters felt a little slow. The puzzles were fun and engaging. The mechanic is done really well. Honestly, is basically release-ready (for a short and simple browser game!).

Developer

Thank you for the honest feedback, we are happy to see people enjoy what we created :)

This is incredibly well-polished for a game jam. The characters feel nice to control, the puzzles don't feel janky, and the mechanic is well-integrated. It is only one mechanic, but that one mechanic is done well. For a full game I'd like to see a bit more, but for a game jam, that's more than enough. Excellent work.

Thank you very much! We enjoyed making this game, maybe after the jam, we'll expand the idea and make more mechanics :)

Super nice game, enjoyed the opportunity to play in the two-player mode. Also nicely fitting the jam's theme :)

Developer

Yay!  We made two characters so making it a coop game was something we felt was a good direction towards making it more enjoyable. Happy to hear your feedback!

This game is INCREDIBLE! All of the art is absolutely amazing, the idea is SUPER creative, and the gameplay was extremely enjoyable. This has some serious potential to be a really successful full game if it were to get some more mechanics and a more fleshed out story. Even in its current state, it is absolutely amazing. Fives across the board. Outstanding job!
