Hi! Unfortunately I don't have friends on my couch right now, and the game could use a bit more feedbacks, but it already works pretty well, congratulations :)

Hi! I played through the tutorial and level 2, it's been a bit hard for me to really understand and remember the controls, especially since I'm playing on a french keyboard layout...but that's not really your fault.

Apart from that, the sound is nice and the art even nicer, congratulations!

Yep, displaying the difficulty is our number one prority for post-jam ;) (but yeah, 20's give a better score at the end)
Thanks for playing, glad you had fun!

Thanks for playing! Could you elaborate on what frustrated you? :)
We were short on time so we opted for "no sound" instead of "not so good sound", but we would love to do it properly as a post jam update!

Hi! This is officially my first dating sim, so I might lack some of the background needed to get everything, so take my words with a grain of salt.

One of my only issues was readability, especially the fact that my date's dialog was displayed below my potential answers, so I had to fight a little not to read it backwards.

Apart from that, I liked the artwork, especially the die "faces" (which I'm just realizing is a perfect word because it works both ways), and really enjoyed the writing and all the little puns, it works very well on me and gave me a few laughs!

Congratulations, thanks for introducing me to the genre :)

Hi!

I had a bit of trouble surviving amongst all the dice running at me, and it took me a while to figure out the controls (admittedly, I got into the game without reading the itch page first). I would say the thing that could have made the game better for me would be to start with a little less enemies and slowly ramp up the difficulty maybe?

The visuals and sounds were nice though, especially the characters and their animations which are really beautiful <3

Congratulations :)

Hi! I made my first roll and was a bit dubious, but when the shop menu opened it was my first "oooooh interesting!" moment of the jam. The art is OK, I got a tiny bit bored when approaching the end, but in general it was a super interesting experience gameplay-wise.

Congratulations :)

Hello fellow "dice tower" game maker :) It's very interesting to see how from the same pun we came up with very different concepts. The physics work great, the environment and audio are nice, it was a bit hard for me to get better and really stack them high but overall it feels quite polished!
Congratulations :)

Hi! I played a few runs, I feel like the game may have gone a bit far from the theme but the art is really lovely, especially in the intro.

Congratulations :)

Hi fellow "sentient die" game maker :) I took me a little while to understand the main goal was to go right and avoid the enemies, which at this point were not very challenging, but overall it works well, and I really like the D&D themed environment!
Congratulations :)

Hello! I finished my first playthrough and lost, and I'm not sure yet if it's random (wich could be appropriate) or if I missed some elements.
That being said, I had a blast <3 The graphics were perfect, the mood and setting interesting and very well crafted, overall an excellent experience for me, congratulations!

Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad you had fun :)

I can't blame you, 4k monitors aren't very common. I switched off full-screen, selected full HD resolution, then switched back to full-screen.

"leaning into probability" was definitely a great  way of taking out a bit of randomness while fully respecting the theme, very well done!

Hi! It took me a bit longer than I'd like to admit to figure out that the dice don't "roll" on their next face but decrease in value, but when I got there it was quite fun and well executed, congratulations!

Hi fellow "dice tower" game maker ;) I had a bit of a hard time with the settings (playing on a 4K screen) but managed to fix it, and the controls could need a bit more fine-tuning : jump height seems a bit too important compared to walk/run speed), and maybe we don't need a walk option if the goal is to go as fast as possible ?

However, I really liked the idea of having to take risks to improve your next run, very cool. It's also great that as you get more dice the probabilities smooth out.

Great idea, congratulations!

Hi :) I had a lot of trouble with the controls and couldn't advance very much in the game (the camera is very sensitive), but I like the idea of playing "on" a die!

Hi! I think we're really missing some feedback on the outcome of the roll to make it fully understandable and enjoyable, but the main idea and mechanics seem to presenting interesting strategic choices  and look very promising, I hope you can keep working on it a little bit :)
Congratulations!

Hi! I'm not sure I understood what I had to do, I just managed to increase my balance by clicking the die? The intro and art style were nice though, good job!

Hi! I found the game a bit simple but the idea works quite well, and with a bit more feedback on what's happening (how much an action costs, better view of the enemy's hp, etc.) it could be very fun indeed :)
On a technical note, I would have appreciated a way to control the view with the mouse (I'm using a french keyboard so the WASD keys don't work very well for directions).

Congratulations !

Hi :) I found it a bit hard to navigate and understand what was going on, and it may bit a bit too far from the theme?

However, the general mood was great, the fact that the level is more complex than it initially looks is interesting, and when we see things they're rendered pretty nicely!

Thanks <3

Hi!

Do you think that the tutorial could be improved to make this clearer or was it enjoyable to discover a strategy?

Regarding the difficulty rating, our initial goal was to mimic some aspects of a tabletop experience (D&D for example), where the situation is explained to you (like "roll to see if you can jump over the river" or "You try to nail a legendary arrow shot through the demon's helmet") but you don't know the actual difficulty beforehand...It indeed doesn't help that we didn't have time to include the narrative bit as we wanted initially ^^

Thanks for playing, happy you had fun !

You're right, we could probably improve this with better level generation rules, or tweaking the camera or the lighting maybe. Thanks for your feedback :)

Thanks a lot :)
