The snowball super power is pretty neat. It seems to me that getting hit is an unavoidable penalty at a certain size. I like the vibe that the simple low-res visuals with the music makes.

Developer

Tahnks for the comment and playing :)

so cool! love the art style (i made  very similar idea on 2d you welcome to check it out!)

Developer

Yeah man, actully very similar :)

Great style and the game felt great to play! Would have liked a little more challenge in terms of the obstacles but it's a very solid entry overall.

A really neat game! The movements are fluid, and I found the idea of using the size of the ball as a health bar as well particularly clever

Developer

Thanks for your compliments and for have played the game. :)

This is not the first game about a giant snowball that’s rolling, and for sure it won’t be the last one.

Good game.

Developer

Thanks for playing. Unfortunately I've notice that I'm not the only snowballer creator. But I'm okay with my project. :)

Really a fun one. Really liked the art on this game and the sound/music also. Well done!

Developer

Thank you :)

Really fun test of skill! I like having to decide between staying fast but easy to die or slow but likely to bump into things.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for playing :)

Edit: Just notice you come out with almost the same idea (your game was actually my exactly first idea).

Great minds think alike! Us snowball game devs gotta stick together

Very neat and innovative implementation of the theme, really enjoyed playing. Feels super-polished for a 48-hr entry too, great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing and for compliments.

This is a nice highscore chaser! Really well done with this one!

I actually think it would have worked wonders if speed relates to how big you get, instead of slowing down the bigger you get until you get translucent.

Well done!

Developer

Thanks for the comment and for playing the game. At the start i was thinking of going that way with the bigger = faster, but you have to take some risk getting bigger (being slow) - in my mind there's something following you like lava or idk. Again, thank you.

Submitted(+1)

Ah ok! In that case, yes adding in a lava/chaser system would help, or  Adding in a checkpoint-timer system, like the arcade racing games; where you would still be risking for going big ^^

This is my favourite entry so far. Trying to optimise for speed was so entertaining in a way I can't accurately described. Trying to jump frame-perfect to reduce friction, then going translucent when you pick up enough snowballs lets you go mach 5 by jumping. think I hit the 2km mark in about 2 minutes, I wish there were an inbuilt timer.

Developer

Thank you very much for your comment and for playing, the timer was in one of the "to do" task with other thousand things, unfortunately i can't finish all the stuff I want on time. Maybe I'll polish the game in the future.

I'm sorry, I really tried to reach 2000m to got the surprise but couldn’t get further than 1275m.

After 1000m, it feels almost impossible to progress further due to the abundance of snowmen. I tried to stay small to avoid them. But then I had to pick up snowballs, which made me bigger wich makes it almost impossible to avoid them.

The game looks really good and the music is entertaining. It really kept me going. Plus, bunny hopping with a big snowball feels great.

It would be helpful to know when the invincibility is going to disappear. And I encountered a bug where the ground just disappeared under me.

Good job on the game! It is fun.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I think the game after 1200 become difficult, but it's just luck i think... thank you for your comment and to play the game  :)

Fun gameplay. Well done!

I liked the sounds and feel of the game, pretty hard to pull of a good game feel in a 3d jam game, a 48 hour one no less. Good job! I made it about 1000 meters. I did notice that sometimes the snowmen are in spots that make it almost impossible to avoid them.

Developer

I really appreciate your comment. yeah i don't have the time to add some exception to the obstacles. :(

Submitted(+1)

Nice art! I only got to 712 meters tho :c If you made it infinite, you could add a highscore board or something! Cool game! I’d see myself playing this in transit to school!

Developer

Hi, the aim is to reach 2000 Meters, btw everytime you hit restart in the menu on the top right corner you can see your highscore. Thanks for playing!
