From the bits and pieces I make from it, it seems like it has an interesting concept there. I did however have a lot of trouble figuring out what to do with things. I tried going around clicking things as well as interacting with the buttons on the bottom left of the page. I got that I was supposed to do something with the weight and the items, and blue dots were customers, but beyond that I remained confused what to do after. I didn't even realize the circles were roombas until I read the comments. It might be a bit late, but I think it's worth writing more information in the description since that's one thing that can still be edited during the voting period, so people can know better what to do with things. I like the way the customers dont tell you directly what item to take though, as most games just show you directly the icon customers want and that is less fun.
A bit confusing as to what to do, walked around, grabbed an item and made no money.
Game looked great, had a bit of a tough time understanding what I needed to do, but I liked the idea, Well done!
I like the gameplay loop idea, with more polish I think it could be something interesting!
I wasn’t really sure what was going on or what I was doing, but the music was nice and the art and style was really nice. Still felt unique that scale was interpreted for weight and using that as an employee at some place doing orders.
I was a bit confused by the choice of screenshot at the top of the page lol, it says press any key to start so I was just pressing and nothing was happening - it's an image.
Once I figured out I was supposed to scroll, everything was ok lol
I like the idea of being a worker collecting stuff from a warehouse, I see the amazon automated roombas are very much in the way. Though it felt strange that I was choosing what items I had to go get. Not really sure what the texts on the right were, were they like missions with a timer?
I'd love to have seen "you can only carry one item, return to checkout" shown on screen somewhere when you pick up your first item, that confused me a bit when all the bubbles disappeared. I perhaps wouldn't have chosen the furthest item away if I'd known that lol - I planned to come around and pick them all up on my way back.
Also given that the items seem to be randomly placed throughout the warehouse, maybe our character should be another robot rather than a human. Idk.
Thanks for taking the time to play our game and giving feedback! Yea, the roombas were a bit of a last minute edition to add more interesting gameplay, but it might've fallen pretty flat. And yea the text were missions on a timer that you could select. The game definitely could've benefited from having an in-game tutorial or how to play button. We added it to our description, but definitely something to consider adding into the actual game for future jams.
*edit: I've changed the top image from being a banner to a background so I hopefully don't confuse others lol.
