How does your game fit the theme?
I interpreted "Built to Scale" in a more thematic way for my project. The theme made me think of to-scale models, like model train sets that a dad would put together in his basement. My dad never did this. Not sure where I'm getting this experience from. I really enjoy the way scale can alter how we interact with objects. Take a large object and scale it down so you can manipulate it? That's just really cool to a child. We should think like children more. Pick things up and throw them because that's cool. I dunno, I hope you dig it.

I loved the voiced explosion noises. Watching the trains fly off the bridge gave an oddly nostalgic feeling, think it reminded me of the original RCT games haha.  Really impressive!

Very unique and fun idea! I had enjoy every moment i'm breaking my dad's toys. Although i kinda feel bad about him lol.

Nice work!

OMG this was so impressive! I love that you're trying to emulate that child-like wonder of playing with toys. Such a nice way to interpret the theme. I don't know why, but this reminds me of a Wii Play game were you charge through as a cow and demolish scarecrows haha. I can tell you had fun making the little sounds as if you're a kid making them. My main criticism is that throwing an object can feel awkward with the motion of the arm and having to press a button. I'm guessing it would feel better if you just let go when you let go of LMB. That's pretty much it.

Great work!

"We should think like children more." - such a wholesome way to describe this and it's true. Everybody should dip in to being a kid again every once in a while. This has a good base for an actual title, I'd definitely be up for bashing teeny tiny railroads up level after level. Well done!

Very much enjoyed it, played through a few times. Love the 3D art and voice! We had a very similar idea for vibe (even used voiced sounds) but i think you pulled it off perfectly. Great submission

Thanks so much for playing! I love that we had similar ideas. I just played through yours as well and it was awesome.

Very fun and cute sandbox game ! The sound design is great and add a lot to the game with the fx! Great job !

Had fun with this one over a couple of run throughs! Simple yet cohesive art, and let's face it it's just satisfying to knock things over and blow stuff up. Voice over got a chuckle out of me.  Was fun trying out the different switches for the train!

Only feedback is that I wish it were easier to grab/knock down things at the edges of the play space (my thirst for destruction demands it), and while you quickly get used to the controls I wonder whether you could simplify it even further and have everything be done through left mouse click and moving the cursor around - maybe you wouldn't even need the keyboard.

Definitely worth a play!

Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback! Yeah I placed some objects down for decoration that weren't physics-based and now I'm thinking it'd be more fun to be able to clear the entire table haha. And good point about the controls, I do wish they were a little more simple. Mouse-only could totally work, maybe moving to the edge of the screen moves the camera. I struggled with having all actions on mouse click since I wanted you to be able to interact with things and also punch your arm forward separately, and LMB + RMB felt uncomfortable. Something to think more about though! Thanks again

Initially I just destroyed everything without really looking at stuff, the voice acting really cracked me up! Then i played it again after noticing the switches and I loved having the trains demolish eachother and themselves off the ramps. Cute lil game!

Thanks so much for playing! That was exactly my hope that most folks would just start breaking things and then take notice to the levers haha.
