That was a fun game. I found it addictive actually. The change in day and night felt so good as well. Loved the game. Its so simple yet so enjoyable. Good job!

How does your game fit the theme?
It's about a little robot that was "built to scale" rock walls

Simple but fun game-loop! I have a few pieces of feedback:
-
It would be good if the hand-holds highlighted when you could grab them. Its a bit hard to judge sometimes when you’re at the edge of grabbing them.
-
Score probably shouldn’t increase if you head back down XD Like another comment said, you could cheese it to rack up a lot of points.

There seems to be some wiggle room in where you can grab the hand-hold, but sometimes you grab it off-centre, then you slowly start drifting from the centre on subsequent holds until the next one is not reachable at all. I don’t know if this was an intentional design choice to punish the player for imprecise grabs, but just wanted to mention it.
Hey, way to go! That was a fun game. Very clean, very fun. The normal maps looked great, and the day/night cycle was super pretty, though it seemed unrelated to the rest of the game. Maybe if it restarted when the game restarted, then getting to the night mode could be an extra challenge for surviving that long, like dark mode in the chrome dinosaur game.
That said, some of the hitboxes for the rocks were unclear -- sometimes they'd be very forgiving and other times they were quite punishing. Also, while I appreciate that you can climb down, it felt a little odd that you got points for it. I felt like an optimal strategy was to find some large holds and go back and forth forever.
Great job, and congrats on doing the jam!
Simple and fun, I like it - I do have two points of critique though. First, I don't like how climbing down still gives you points, feels a bit counter to the idea that you can rack up points by just regrabbing the same two rocks. Second, I found the night time shader to be difficult to look at - I mean it is pretty, not gonna lie, but it makes it harder to discern where are grabbable rocks. Other than that, fun stuff!
Very fun arcade game! I'd maybe make it so the player snaps/moves towards the middle of the holds as sometimes you could grab and not be able to reach the next one, but other than that really nicely done!
That normal map effect at night is really cool! Nice music and pixel art.
This game was super addictive. I liked the lighting effect and the day night cycle a lot! Honestly if this was a mobile game I would play it on my down time for fun.
Simple controls and very fun! The night transition was a nice surprise. Great game!
