I like the way you add fever system into the snake. Good job
That's an interesting twist to the snake game, I would make it so that the induvidual pieces of the snake stood out, rather than being one solid piece.
I liked the idea of the twist, personally took me a while to figure why was I dying.

Fun little mechanic is that you can reverse directions if you're small enough by pressing a key to change direction to another axis, then press the key for the opposite direction of where you were going originally.

the apples can be a different color. snappy controls and simple and fun gameplay. yipeee!!
If you move to the right and quickly use UP and LEFT, you do a 180° turn and kill yourself. You should always avoid this in a snake game! Also, it would be cool if the body was made so that you can clearly recognise your body when 2 layers are adjacent. You can do this with outlines, with a thinner body or with more colours. Otherwise nice game ^^
I ate myself a lot with the quick movements, thankfully the reset was fast :(
