You have a great sense of style and the jumping felt good. Sadly I at some point just didn't know where else to go, so I didn't manage to finish the game :(
Great art style! Very unique! I enjoyed the game
Great job on creating such a visually appealing game! The pixelated art style and textures really add a lot of charm to the experience, and the movement mechanics feel smooth and satisfying. I especially loved the clean and polished aesthetic—it makes the game feel really cohesive and enjoyable to play. The only thing that become kinda distracting was the white outlines.
The challenge is definitely there, and I found myself determined to keep pushing forward, even when things got tough. The journey itself is definitely rewarding.
Thanks for sharing this with us!
Very cool movement and art style!
good job!)
Love the pixelated look and textures. Cool vibes!
Such a pretty game! Loved the aesthetic. It’s so clean to play. Great work!
WOW. What a really fun (and infuriating) game. It's really pretty. The music is absolutely a banger, which is really good because you will be hearing it a LOT if you try and make it to the top. Aesthetics were really cool, I can't decide if I like the pixely shader but otherwise yeah I really like the dark world, industrial skins, and the sound effects are really satisfying. The level design is really good. I can't decide if it would make the game better to have checkpoints or if that kinda defeats the purpose.
Even though it was very frustrating I was DETERMINED to make it to the top. I was a little dissatisfied when i got to the top and there wasn't much fanfare, but when i jumped off i looked back up to the tower and saw my time way up in the sky! It took me 34 minutes and 48 seconds. :)
Also i didn't understand the usage of the long jump for quite a while but eventually figured it out. There was also one spot where i got out by double wall jumping but i can't decide if that's intentional or not since it's before the text that explains that that's a thing?
Update: Came back and played this game again. Beat it in 8 minutes and 47 seconds this time. This still might be my favorite game for the game jam
While the theme is a bit lacking, I think this is a very good game. I would be willing to pay for a full release.
