This game is utterly infuriating to play but it also had me laughing quite alot! The little menaces trying to undo your hard work are adorable and annoying in what is *usually* a good way. The game is pretty damn frustrating though and the music makes me feel like I'm going mad. I think maybe some larger, easier to balance pieces early on would have been nice for a slower difficulty ramp. I can totally see this working as a phone game or somesuch.

Developer

Yeah, my musical skills are somewhat lacking, and I didn't anticipate for it to become a rage-game, but you seemed to have had a good time. I wasn't focused on balancing and more so making a game in time, so I'm sorry that it is so brutal in the beginning. Thanks for the review! :)

The theme approach was a little vague, but dude this is a very fun and challenging game anyway! Yeah having two types of timers confused me, but I just took the little creatures, put them on the left always, then all furniture parts on the right, and started building the thing while not allowing the creatures to bump it. I don't know if that was the intended experience, but that way was very fun for me! Like having the creatures controlled on the left side all times was waaaay more of a threat than the clock ticking down. Take that as feedback, I'm sure you can work it out If you decide to continue the game. And maybe for the theme part, you could have made the creatures angrier every time you shipped a furniture and made them grow in size or walk faster, so next level would have been more difficult. I know 4 days is short but that could have been awesome. Anyway great game man!

Thank you for writing this detailed feedback. The timer in the left was supposed to auto-submit your build if you took too long, but I somehow managed to break this in the final version 😅.  The timer in the right was a way to stop the game after a while, and that was the only way I could think of at the time. The creatures were a final touch and did bring it all together. It is nice to hear that you guys enjoyed playing my game so much. :) P.S.: yes it was intended to be played that way

Nice game, but a litte bit hard :)

Developer(+1)

Yeah, originally you only had one pet but I figured it was to easy. Should have asumed I was decent at my own game. I'm sorry if it caused pain.

Good game  but I think it doesn't fit the theme very goood. Good job

Developer

Thanks. Well, my thoughts were that you are quite literally "building to scale". But I can see the connection being ... lackluster. I'm happy you enjoyed it!

The idea is good and interesting, but it was a bit difficult for me to understand the gameplay, but in the end it was unique. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for the review! In the four day time limit I somehow forgot to add a tutorial 😅

The main menu is a masterpiece, between the streamlined options and straight forward quit button. I also liked managing the pets, I would get them to run at each other so that they would cancel out the movement. The packing box is a nice touch too. Cool game.

Developer

Thanks for checking out my game. The menu as you could tell was my main focus. The pets walking against each other is extremly intended and mostly because they like each other :)
