How does your game fit the theme?
The Imp has to build the correct items for the correct adventurers. The wrong items means that it will be useless. Example: In case you craft a large axe for a mage, He/She will not be able to use them due to being too heavy/large. Sadly I couldn't make the game as I wanted due to lack of coding knowledge and it doesnt show as well in gameplay (I was going to impletement a "Size" mechanic/system, but I'm not enough of a programmer to acomplish that in 48 hours).

fun game that definitely has potential!! i like art and the game loop but the timer just felt a bit too short for me. I loved experimenting to try find out how to make the items the customers wanted. extremely well done considering the timeframe!! Also i love the little imp guys  :D

Thank you for the kind words!

this game is amazing, reminds me to FFXIV’s crafting system. took me some time (10 runs?) to craft the correct item, but it was fun learning in the process! good job!

I'm glad you saw it that way, because FF14's crafting system was a big inspiration! I was going to create several skills that made the stats go up in uncontrollable ways so that you had to carefully plot out a skill rotation. For example, increasing size would also increase other stats, and then have skills to lower them as well.  Sadly as I mentioned in the comments, time got away from me so I had to reduce to 2 stats (even if the others are programmed in the game but do nothing) to get something running until submission time.

Thanks for the kind words!

yeah, we also struggled with time haha - we always have so many ideas and we have to reduce so we can actually deliver something! the current state is fun, so congrats :)

I love the style and all the flavour text but I could never create the correct item even knowing only size and quality matter, the timer was felt quite fast.

Developer

Yeah, I initially had the timer set to 60 seconds, which was way more lenient, but because I play tested the game so much, I was already aware of most of the combinations, so I shortened it to 30 seconds, which was a mistake. Most people that try the game are confused and need some time to check out things. It also doesn't help that my tutorial isn't the best.

Thanks for checking it out and I'm glad you liked the style, because I really struggle with the visual aspect!

I guess the concept is good, but yeah I don’t understand the stats either.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, it's a mix of the game being incomplete and me not properly explaining it. I had a whole plan to make multiple stats interact with each other along with more skills to make it a complex puzzle, but at the end I ran out of time, meaning that only Size and Quality matter.

I also definitely need to bump up the priority of a working Tutorial for the next jam. Thanks for the feedback Nafeon!

The concept is really cool imo, i just don't understand the game. Like at all. When i had to make the armor that has like the size 81-100 and quality 70-90 (i'm not sure about the numbers), i'd fit within these numbers and i'd apparently make nothing.

Developer

The Size is the white bar, which is not properly communicated at all, so I'm not surprised it's hard to tell.

If you got that result, it was either because the Size was at 0, or a bug. Sorry!

The Stat system was supposed to be a bit more complex and the main mechanic of the game, but I ran out of time sadly and it's unfinished.

I'm glad you liked the concept, I'm happy I was able to imagine something semi creative (something I struggle with most of the times), even if I couldn't actually finish it. Thanks for checking the game!
