While this is a decent seed of a platformer, the controls feel a bit slippery.
That said... this definitely doesn't fit the theme of the jam at all.
I love the camera cinematics that makes them follow the player slowly. Love the amount of polish and the gameplay itself. The jump can be less floaty, and the tutorial can be a bit better, but it's a jam game, so it's cool. Good job!
It doesn't really fit the theme, but its a servicable platformer game with pretty simple levels. I didn't really enjoy the somewhat fixed camera because I kept on falling onto hazards I couldn't see.
I'm not sure how this fits the theme, but well done! Gave me celeste vibes :)
Liked the overall game - might have just been me but the only way I could jump was the up arrow key rather than the advertised controls on the tutorial area. In terms of how the game looks, if you were to change this to look perfect I would make sure all the pixel art was the same resolution so it looks more cohesive. Even though this does not fit the theme well - I really enjoyed it good job!
Doesn't seem to fit the theme much.
However the game is quite nice, like the art a lot and also movement feels nice. I think if you added coyote timer jumping from edges would feel a little bit nicer. Overall, I liked it :)
I don't see how this fits the theme, the pixel art is quite nice and I look how the character dashing looks.
