Excellent platformer game! Intuitive controls and consistent art.
Thank you Skeffles, \( ᵔ ‿ ᵔ )/
P.S. I like your name
Man, your character really feels amazing to control! 👏The tutorial is very well put together! The general ambiance is wonderful! Nothing feels out of place in here... the art style, the music, the sound effects. Congrats sir! 💪
Thank for hammering through the bugs.
Loved the minimalist pixel art style, and there's some real mechanical depth in both the power-ups and the abilities of the character! The wall jump feels great to execute in particular, but is brought down by how the character sticks to the walls. Other issues with the controls sadly decreased the enjoyment factor for me, but I can appreciate the ambitiousness of the project, especially considering the time frame. With a few fixes I would gladly revisit this :) good job man!
Thank you pillow. May you always be on the cool side.
Cool concept... It's pretty difficult, but for a 48-hour jam game, it works really well. Nice job!
还可以看着还不错的
谢谢
The art is clean, well polished and well thought out - colours for the full screen to indicate powers is a nice touch. I absolutely love that constantly turning die, and the pickups, both of which I found mesmerizing to watch.
I found that I wasn't able to move while using the climb powerup in the main level, which meant that as far as I could tell I wasn't able to progress - enjoyed my time with the parts of the level I was able to reach though :)
I'm sorry I noticed it too when I showed it to my spouse. Um you can make it across with other stuff. I just accidentally forgot to scale down enemy health from testing. My 4am brain made a lot of mistakes. Thank you for your kind words. ( ᵔ ͜ʖ ᵔ )
Know the feeling on the 4am brain haha - I'll give it another shot :)
That was pretty fun- looks great too :)
I was bad at it though :/ I think maybe if the enemies died in a few shots I might have stood a better chance :D
Actually funny story. I forgot to change that back to lower health after testing lol. ¯\_( ❛ ▿ ❛ )_/¯
I loved this game. It was very fun! Good job!
by the way could you play and rate my game?
Cool game! Great job. But it's very difficult
Understandable, I didn't have much time to plan out levels. After the game jam I might post a more rigid and complete version if I have time.
Had a difficult time making this, but as an artist first programmer second I learned a lot making this. Tutorial level was kind of rushed, but I had to recreate every object as a separate tutorial level object. This took time and I realized now their was probably an easier way. Just 2 AM Elska thinks different lol
Code error when i died in the tutorial level
Yeah, sounds about right lol
Code error when i died in the tutorial level
Question, how did you die in tutorial? bullets?
Yes, bullets from the first enemy that I encountered.
Hmm. well guess I messed it up lol. Thought I disabled it but eh ¯\_( > ͜ʖ < )_/¯
Thanks for playing though btw.
WOW! that was a good surprise! It was fun, beautiful, and creative! Congrats!! I really enjoy this game, good luck guys!
Thanks, I tried my best lol.
