How does your game fit the theme?
The game is a traditional top down shooter where you roll dice every ten seconds which changes the state of the playing field. Rolling doubles makes you roll again, making the playing field more chaotic.

Really funny, it scalated quickly from red blocks to giant thirsty monsters. Nice game.
The game was pretty fun, but if you got lucky and no enemies spawned it could get a bit boring.
Yeah, I probably could have just had the player role whenever he wanted in the ten second window to skip the boring wait.
Just when you think you have a simple rhythm down those enemies can start to build up fast and catch you by surprise, as the room fills with hearts its only a matter of time before enemies spawn right on them and it takes just enough more time to delay you from the next obstacle... exciting game, and I especially love the touch of the enemies leaving behind splatters!
Thank you. I think the splatters were literally the last thing I added to the game.
This game was really awesome. I really like the idea of creating the enemies, and the map with the roll of a dice. Definitely one of the more creative wave shooters I played this jam. I didn't encounter any issues with the game. It was just really fun!
Super fun game. I like the enemy AI and the way level fills with blocks.
Cool game! I like the chaotic nature of the dice rolls adding hazards to the arena, it gets frantic fast! Great gameplay, an interesting take on the theme and the best name of the jam :)
Thank you very much. I would also like to say that the name of your game is very elegant and original as well. (Seriously, there are close to 100 games named "God does not play with dice" or "Dice Tower")
cool!
Neat idea! I like that the arena builds itself over time. Pretty cool!
I just noted a glitch. Your high score does not reset after pressing space bar. :(
Oh well, it's all about proof of concept, am I right?
This is rad as heck! I was like, oh gonna run through some levels, but then the dice rolls BUILDING the hazards, that's so cool!
Thank you. I'm glad you liked what I was going for.
Fun game, i like that you had a tutorial but wish it could be optional, the fun really began when you where in the actually arena.
If you continue on it, adding bit more abilities to the player its self based on what you kill or your dice roll. And skip countdown and roll when you complete since there could a bit downtime.
Yes, I agree with all of those things. If I hadn't spent my time making "passable" art, I probably could have improved all those things. Of course as usual, I overestimate my abilities because I have a bachelors in art thinking I would be fast. Alas, I wasn't.
Nice game! Good job!
Thanks dude.
