Incredible game!
You can realise it as is and I would buy it. Probably the best puzzle game on the jam.
My one and only issue is this bug I found, I assume it's because it first checks for available moves and only after that destroys the line.
What a wonderful and very polished puzzle game! I had a lot of fun with this one. The puzzle element had me thinking carefully about my every move, and the sound effects had every move feeling super satisfying. This is one of my favourite games I've played so far. I don't even have any feedback to give, beyond I would love for this to be expanded. Great work!
Very unique mechanic, had a lot of fun and trouble trying to beat my previous high score.
If I stop thinking for even a single move, I would instantly be in a bad spot.
Pretty intuitive and simple, congrats on finishing the jam !
(Kali's face is always taunting me)
The artwork here is amazing! I lost my soul to Kali more times than I can count, but I finally got a score of 20 on normal. I’ll definitely be playing this more to nail a good strategy and conquer hard mode.
Simple concept, clean execution. Only took me one round to figure the general strat, but it the game had me hooked nonetheless. Great work using randomness to improve player engagement, which is something not many achieve this jam. Love it!
HELLO FELLOW JAMMER TAKING INSPIRATION FROM BOARD GAMES <3
Pardon my enthusiasm. I love Sagrada and this is a wonderful little game with similarities. Congrats on finishing this in 48 hours!
I really like your interpretation of the theme. This is the perfect mix of randomness and giving the player a chance to react and plan around a knowable set of outcomes. I played for a bit and got over 80 on easy and 36 on hard mode. I also appreciate your tweaks on the Sagrada formula, mainly the dice clearing aspect to make a solo version more viable. It might have been nice to have an ending or goal of sorts (maybe a target score?), but it's a jam game. You've made plenty. And your presentation is gorgeous, too. Well done!
You did a pretty good job explaining the rules of the game, but I already know a similar game. Have you found in your feedback that some people are having difficulties learning the game? Anything you wish you could have done differently?
Well done, congrats on a superb little jam game. Keep making games!
Thanks for playing!
I hadn't heard of Sagrada, but can see the similarities for sure! Although it looks like Sagrada uses the opposite matching rule to my game (i.e. adjacent dice must not share a color / value) - that's an interesting space to explore.
I haven't heard a lot of feedback regarding players having difficulty learning the game, but I noticed many players have an "ah ha" moment when they realise they have to satisfy the rule for all surrounding dice. That tends to be a moment where players start to play more carefully. That's more a case of learning strategy than the rules though. :)
Really nice and relaxing game! I have to say the concept is very clever and yet so simple, and I don't think there are any other submissions with a remotely similar idea. The presentation and music are gorgeous. And congrats for the amazing luck of getting your game played by Mark himself! That in my books is a major win!
It's good! Simple but good idea, good art, and of course a goddess of death would like a game where you can only postpone losing eventually.
This game absolutely slaps. I would play this endlessly, especially on mobile! You have managed to develop an incredibly satisfying and varied puzzle game that feels like a complete game, and I am blown away you managed to do so in less than 48 hours. With just a tiny bit more content, I feel like this could go straight onto basically any platform.
Bravo!!
A very solid entry! The visuals here are pleasant to an eye and the music is perfectly matched with the design. Love it
Damn, this is a really impressive solo-submission! Love the way it looks, sounds and plays. And I really envy you for the idea, haha: that concept is so simple, yet so enjoyable! Your success depends quite a bit on which dice your dealt though. I would love to see a "swift"-mode where you're allowed to re-roll the remaining dice at the bottom once and each row you clear would recharge that ability.
Wonderful game with an equally impressive presentation. Everything about it is done so well. Really enjoyed the concept and the execution is impeccable.
Hugely impressive solo submission! I absolutely love the theme and enjoyed Kali's little face so much. Really appreciated the X marks showing you illegal moves too. One of my faves so far!
This was played by Mark Brown. I thought I could give this a try.
