Had a hard time moving around

Pretty fun idea but its incredibly hard due to the character sliding a lot and the controls being a bit floaty. I can see this being really enjoyable if you tweak the character controller to be a bit more responsive. I really like the presentation of the game the robot sprite looks nice just like the building blocks. Nice work!

Thanks so much!
I agree, a good Player Controller goes a very long ways. Mark Brown even noted that in his devlog videos. It's something that, after this jam, I've spent the last week focusing on learning how to build.

This game is really uncomfortable to play. Especially character's motion and sliding are too annoying, and I fell off a platform many times. This slippery mechanic would suit more with the game that has big area. But this game needs to be more like Super Mario Bros or some 2D platformer games.

And there is no music or any sound effects, but you claim that you have created the vast majority of the music.

But the building feature in this game is a little surprising.

Overall, the game is not good. I hope this can improve your next project or this project if you want to still work on it.

The music is available in the downloadable version, for some reason it did not transition over with our WebGL build. This was my first game jam, so I was able to learn a lot about how to handle the scope of a project for a limited time. But thank you for the feedback! I agree, the movement could be more polished.

This robot is heavy. But building is fun!

A charming game. I wish that the shapes generated appeared at the same angle that they show up in the side bar.
