How does your game fit the theme?
This is an adventure game where your weapon is literally a die, dealing the amount of damage it rolls to enemies you throw it at. The effects of this are compounded over environmental/conditional effects

  • Getting more feedback when damaging enemies would be nice. It was very unclear when exactly they took damage and how close I was to killing them.
  • Maybe more contrast between ground and player / NPCs / enemies would make the game look even better.
  • Sometimes there were too many enemies attacking me at once.
  • Dice sometimes needed a bit too much time to stop moving, so I was effectively too long without a weapon.

Besides these balancing and feedback tweaks I think that game is pretty solid, and it's really cool how you tried to add a lot of content into the game in this short time span.

Thanks for the feedback! We did trade quality for quantity a little during the final hours, and I'm a pretty poor judge of difficulty, so I'll be sure to keep an eye on these sorts of things in the future.

Wow, this is so impressive! The music, the combat, the content. Very well done!

The amount of content is very impressive and although there are some sprites missing I like the art style a lot!

Developer

Thanks! Actually, if you're referring to the weird floor tiles that keep showing up, I used those sprites when writing the code to focus of the mechanical aspects of play before uploading any sprite work, but I had so much stuff to add that I just ended up keeping them like that.

Best game so far. there is no sound effect so, if I recomend something it would be add sound effect. everything is just really good. if you make a game and sell it and I would buy it.

it's impressive how much you managed to add to the game during the game jam.
sadly i found the game a bit hard after the tutorial room

Developer

Yeah, pacing the game wasn't something I had time for. Hope what you played of it was fun, though!
