Nice mecanics & controll,
it feels great !
This was amazing! I liked the mechanics! I tried to beat the pitch black stage but then realized it might have been a bug or something.
Nope! You got him home lol. I wish I'd made that more clear but you know, hindsight and all that.
Really proud of the feel of the platforming on this one personally. Kinda wish I'd given myself more time to do a little more with it, but it is what it is.
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it :)
I thought it was a very interesting idea and a great game, very easy to play.
I enjoyed it! (Is it over when you arrive at the pitch black stage? Is there a continuation?)
Yep, that's the end. I ran into an issue when trying to connect that portal back to the beginning. My guess is it created a cycle that Godot didn't like and I needed to sleep rather than figure it out lol.
Thanks for playing!
This was rather good! I like the movement mechanics a lot, felt great!
Good game but I have a question. Is endless "rocket jump" the right way to pass the last level?
You don't need it but I'm kind of glad someone discovered that exploit lol
I really like it but can't seem to super jump by holding jump so I am stuck can you help me I want to keep playing, great idea and gameplay so far
Whoops, maybe I should have worded that better. You hold "down" (ie. S in WASD controls) and press jump.
Thanks for playing :)
Ahhh nice thank you! Great idea for this jam I like it, the dash when lightweight feels really good. I wished you had more time to polish a bit more these levels and make them feel a bit more challenging as a puzzle/platformer kind a way. Great job
Nice game :)
I quite liked the jumping ability by severing your body. The last map however felt like a maze to me. Good for showing the goal from the start so that the player knows the general direction, but maybe some more variance in the walls would have helped a bit. You did mention you think it fits the theme so that's why you made the level like this but, at least for me, a bit more detail would have helped.
That being said, the platforming itself feels quite nice and that's the core so well done!
Lovely idea :)
Nice take on the theme. I think i would have map the control differently, not sure how but it felt a bit conterintuitive to me. The level design is well done.
